This should be a great trading point. Australia, with a brand new pink ball under lights, must have a great chance of making inroads into India's second innings. Will be laying India when the final wicket falls, if it comes fairly soon.

Backed Australia at 2.10 with Paine and Marnus set Oz now into favouritism again and looking for a nice move in Australia's favour with an old ball.

Well that didn't work haha back to where i started the day.

Missed a really good chance here to capitalise on the position I built yesterday and exited a touch to soon.
Hindsight is wonderful but Head wasn't settled when I exited but my mentality was, I gotta get the boy ready for school. The market was not going to move against me that much had he remained at the crease until I could focus again. The wickets of Head and now Green would have put me in a really wonderful spot but once again its a learning curb, not being a limited overs match I had considerably more time to hold my position.
Its all good I'm still nicely in the green and more opportunities will present themselves in this match and obviously other test matches but still a bit of a DOH!! moment.

By batting like madmen this morning India have also guaranteed themselves a crack with the 2nd new ball tonight. Massive session then coming up.

@darri was planning to back Oz this morning but just missed the boat as I adjusted my eyes and tried not to wake little man as we cut thru them. India missed a trick with not opening with Shami but held tight on the lay if Bumrah hadn't dropped Mums Lasagna would have been better. A bit more green having laid at 1.46 and will give these two a bit to settle after lunch before considering a move if the two run machines get settled.

india bringing shami on and finally pitching it up, was too defensive with new ball. If they could get either of these two before the end of session would be interesting

@james-woodroffe managed to bag a nice move on aus this morning, ball not yet 10 overs old and with lower order in got on at 1.89 and exited after a few fell. Was tempted to do the same ie back india getting a few but they havent bowled same line and lengths yet, left right combo hurting them a bit for rhythm.

Very strange and poor display from India. Barely had time to make coffee. Thinking a small lay of Australia considering Burns form and Wade having never opened before.
    That Indian attack also.

Day 2 here's hoping can build on day 1
Big first hour to observe , maybe scalp some trades as runs scored not overly fussed
Would love to see india battle on to 280 ish mark
Then see how aus openers settle and ball softens etc and make a judgement from there . I'm thinking once Aus batters do settle into the pitch they could bat long (obviously) and fair to say the run rate likely to be better but here's why , what stood out yesterday was Aus bowling i dont think ever bowled a bad ball and with slice luck could easily be two's on . so first hour ish huge to see what pressure india bowlers can apply and how consistent .
All that being said India could be a good trade lay day 2 for a profit
