@Stuart-Wallace just home, managed to get on just above 6, but seems I missed my next entry by 1 tick. Oh well.
Still looking at a nice green for now. Can't see the draw back in play until the 4th innings unless the tail wags. Overcast Forecast for tomorrow too so hopefully plenty of wickets.

@Nathan-Bennett This has aged well, nice bit of green to play with now, cheers

Ages ago got on a lay while on road
ENG 1.15 lay
Runs line sitting around 434
Suspect England market stays stale if no continual wickets
Think safe lay for some time -
draw now down to sub 6. A good time to lay - 1 more wicket and then into the bowlers. Can see WI being all out for sub 300.
-
@Nathan-Bennett the prices have changed more overnight than they did during the day. I've gone a small back to lay on the draw now at 13.5, hoping it drops to around 10 quickly after the start.
Just need a good WI start, should be sunny all morning so hopefully they get through the 1st 10 overs then can start to score a bit. I'm out for today so just going to set my draw lays and hope some get taken. Will leave my ENG lay for now but will take out liability around 1.25.
Excellent, got out of my draw back to lay at 9.6 inside 3 overs.
Looks an excellent day for batting, hopefully WI can get some runs now and bring other trades into play. -
All ENG wickets were caught ?
Wonder if that a first -
@Fraser-cord Yes something low to lay be great
Big key will be WI avoiding follow on and by some margin like 320 -
@Nathan-Bennett been monitoring all day. Hardly any change, including during that rapid start (maybe the early wicket didn't help).
Draw was around 10 too. Didn't get below 8.6 in the 1st test. Can hopefully get it 7.0 or below once WI bat.

Something i mess around only small stakes sometimes
Back runs lines over when teams 8 down
Tail wagging happens a lot
WI actually made me a few dollars last test ha -
@Stuart-Wallace that's short based on WI in the 1st test. Let's hope they significantly improve.
Only real hope is ENG bat 1st and get a quick start. Then get laying them in the hope WI can grab a few wickets.
Saw little they can bat 80 overs, or score 200+. Only once they do will the markets move to open anything else up.
-
@Stuart-Wallace not often value pre these days but often can come in a lot
-
Draw price for 2nd Test is 15 !!
-
@Stuart-Wallace at least you made something.
Hopefully WI put up a better showing this time, that 1st test was a real disappointment tradingwise.
-
@Fraser-cord yes, iput all the liquidity i had on at 6 - not much, just banked it
-
Runs line sitting at 212.5 and match odds 1.15
Iโll be laying 1.15 if got 200+ forsure with three innings cricket to go if thatโs roughly what the market does at change of INNS -
@Stephen-Hancox I saw the market out last week with the draw at 6.0.
Was tempted then but thought anything can happen, knowing my luck a huge storm would appear.
Would of been an amazing pre match trade.
Hopefully more opportunities present themselves.
-
I had a quick look yesterday in case of laying the draw angles. Was put off by it being 9. Now over 15. Would have been a good trade yesterday
-
@Fraser-cord Hoping England bats first too for similar reasons
That would of been my early play -
Looking at today's test. Little to get involved with straight away. WI strength will be their bowling so if ENG bat 1st and get off to a quick start, may be able to lay ENG below 1.1.
Can't see the draw coming in significantly at the rate ENG score and the WI batters are too unknown to bank on them hanging about for back to lay of the draw.
Any other angles I'm missing?

ENG NZ W ODI
LAY ENG 1.09
Stake out 1.18 assess toward end of INNS
