what just happened in brisbane too late to post .. however , does anyone ever lay batters as they approach or get or just after milestones then get out . happens all the time

Draw price in Brisbane could be in the 2’s quite soon. Yes there’s some rain around but thinking a result is still very much on the cards. Batting will get tougher.

India now out to 9.80 with news that Sunny Gavaskar will be pulling on the pads and bypassing his commentary duties. Funny story about Sunny. Years ago in Mohali we were getting off the bus for day 1 of a test match, the great man was stopped by an over eager security guard and asked to see his accreditation. Sunny pointed to a large roughly 30 foot banner of himself that held a prominent position at the main gate and simply said “That’s my accreditation pass son.”
Interestingly this is only the second test match played in Brisbane that will be in January as Brisbane generally holds the first test of the Oz summer in November and will also be the first first class match played at the Gabba this season as it has only hosted BBL matches thus far. Will be interesting to see if it plays any different to what it usually does in November.
