Draw in to 3.4.... another lay for me in the hope that it will bounce out again before too long.

lay of the draw at 4.80 and a small back of SL at 2.14 whilst this partnership kicks along.

Looks like a great opportunity to drip lay as price approaches -4

Sri Lanka win toss and bat first. Will be interesting to see how Jimmy Anderson bowls here. He'll have to go some to match Stuart Broad's efforts in the First Test.

With the weather looking good, I'm hoping for a decent batting performance from the home side to bring the draw price down. Anything under 5 should be an excellent lay here, remembering there hasn't been a drawn game in SL for more than six years.

Test . Can never get in first but still should be good for 10 ticks ish backing team that wins toss . Should be 1.01 captain decides to bat ... took 8 ticks and now cheekily backing draw for 5-6 ticks pre game and possibly robots trim this further if no wickets in first over or two .. ultimately the draw is a huge lay hopefully heads towards 4's

@james-everard hi mate yes it is for me along with tennis. I’m a Cricket tragic and along with tennis am a lot more knowledgeable and passionate than I am about football and decided that it made much more sense to go down this path. I think personally for me they are much better sports to trade as they offer so many more opportunities to really go forward.

@james-woodroffe Hi James how you been mate? Very detailed and interesting post . I have been reading this thread recently trying to learn from you guys who are much more knowledgeable than myself on Cricket.
I like cricket and no a bit but nothing to the levels of you guys, i am going to start small on the test just starting and see how i go.
is this the sport of choice now for your trading ?

2nd test in Galle starting tomorrow and interesting that both sides are priced at the time of this post at 2.32 with the draw currently at 7.40 to lay. No rain expected and a very dry pitch which will take spin early. If Lakmal is again deemed underdone Sri Lanka could well go in with 4 frontline spinners and just the 1 quick. England have made just the one change bringing in Jimmy Anderson and resting Stuart Broad which to me seems ludicrous. Nothing obviously against Jimmy and I understand they resting Broad for India but I’d be resting Wood as Broad was outstanding in the first test and in particular that 1st innings where SL were bundled out for 135. We can rule out a draw and possibly even a 5th day. I’d expect the team who wins the toss to bat first and I have infinitely more faith in England than a rebuilding Sri Lanka.
Not sure as yet I reckon Richard obviously has a better idea going forward but if England bat first if they get settled a back should be the way forward and hopefully they score around 350+ and that draw price comes in a touch more as batting last will be a nightmare. The same can’t be said for SL as they are prone to collapses but having said that if they do bat first and collapse that draw price will balloon right out. Maybe also 7.40 is value already for a draw lay as tests in SL get results 🤔the first session will tell a lot as will obviously the toss. Either way someone is losing that’s a given.
