@richard-futter huge info cheers . Was the smallest of trades TBH just tried squeezing additional green . I should know better by now final innings laying winning teams
-
@mark-gorton yeah mate, made some great mates over the years from all over the place. India is a great place to tour.
So are Pakistan and Sri Lanka both amazing countries. -
@james-woodroffe Loved the mix of Brits, Ozzies, South Africans and Locals made a great team to look after and how else would you see so much of the country on someone else dollar. Also did a bit the other side of the border, however, not much chance to watch cricket there.
-
@mark-gorton we had some great guys that did your job mate and kept us all safe and trusted that you guys knew what you were doing made our lives easier. Respect.
-
@james-woodroffe Hi James, you never know, I was the security manager, so did all my work before the matches and then use to hang around with the camera crews during the games. Had a great time but my company lost the contract after that, so didn't have a chance to revisit.
-
@mark-gorton Our paths may very well have crossed mate. I was on the IPL Production team from 2008 to 2015 although I know they have 4 crews per year maybe we didn't. I met my wife on the 2011 edition in a Chennai hotel lobby. She was a Production manager for IMG. Small world.

@martin-futter First time I have seen or followed a cricket trade, very interesting and looks a great way to trade at a slower pace. I like the fact I could follow the comments on the forum and then see how they evolve in Betfair. On a side note, I worked with the IPL production team for three months in 2013, went all over India and saw how crazy they were about cricket as a nation....Now I wish I had paid more attention to the actual game...

@nathan-bennett I usually resist the temptation of laying Pakistan on home soil. In 65 years they've only lost once in Karachi, so for me a lay of the opposition is usually the first port of call.
really good info that cheers!

Had a small early lay PAK @1.27 trade target 1.55 . gave up on this happy with overall trades .
just seen whats unfolding been eyeing similar . Rate of partnership decent . All markets moving . -
Looks like a pitch where you're in danger early on, but if you can stay in for 9 or 10 overs you can start to build an innings.
If SA can somehow fashion a lead of around 150, there could be one or two scares still for Pakistan which could lead to some tasty odds backing the home side.
There's no real sign of the pitch breaking up totally, and I'm pretty certain Pakistan will prevail in the long run.

@richard-futter incredible days trading!
-
Paradise for draw layers yet again. That's Test cricket for you - looks like nothing much is happening, then bang-bang-bang the draw price goes from 3.5 to 24!
-
