Yep i always just thought he did videos, a couple of strats and a course. The community for that kind of thing should be free, think he is missing a trick there. I often think about that kind of thing NGL i have thought about venturing into a project like that myself but feel like a sellout. The roi for buying his stuff will take a long time to recoup your investment if you start with say a £100 beginner bank or lower. I often like to think of btc stats software is what im paying for this forum just comes free with it. I wonder if the industry will ever cut industry leaders some slack with marketing in the betting industry. Like ryan and martin receive heaps of trolls and so does caan berry/peter webb i even seen that ben guy has said he hates the online abuse he gets. Its just anyone who makes profits from others is still frowned upon. Wonder if there is a better way to get around this. Thats why i try to show total transparency with everything i do, and reply to every comment and email you guys send, feel like everyone learning is just looking for someone to bounce ideas off etc without them pushing a sale on you. Its why iv held back on going a bit broader than just on here because i often fail to bite my tongue when it comes to trolls as you have seen i do also have to remember this is not my community im just a member so got to respect that

@liam-willis i wonder if btc could do something like this? Be good to actually see where in the trader levels each person is. I think there are some underrated traders on here, and then there are those too that people would expect are pro but are actually still only learning stages and beginners bank sizes. Do it in a way that doesnt harm anyones ego and helps other with decent advice. I suppose my blog is an interview in itself but there are other traders on here im sure are pros and would do a one off interview.
yep the guys videos are really well done and im sure his course is good. I mean no offence to anyone else who makes trading video etc but most tend to waffle or veer into other topics within videos and its annoys me, this guy has it done really well. I just dont like the marketing side ill always be a cynical about that because of my past in gambling problems etc, but sometimes forget there are decent people that have to do those same techniques or they just wouldnt stand out. For now i like my little space here online just a simple blog maybe one day ill try to grow it out a bit more.
I am a member of UFT as well (which is the name of hos course). It's a very well put together course with lots of videos where he shows live trades, also some which are losing just to show that things don't always go your way. I will say though, that for anyone who has bought BTC there isn't much-added value in buying UFT, especially not at the prices he charges.
I echo this from @Finn-Kristensen , BTC for me has taught me a lot more on a broader spectrum about trading

@darri i cant remember the exact figures but yes its much better with your added rules.
It still works but you can get more profit for less trades

@Darri I also bought his course about a year ago and to be honest all though the strategies are fine and I use some of them now, my issue was for the cost your left to your own devices pretty much with little support other than the chat room which Ben Michaels the owner doesn't frequent.
I would expect more than strategies for the cost involved although it was a one off fee it was quite expensive
I think I'm in a better place here now
-
@darri I bought his course last year, plenty of good content and various strategies, I actually tried to workout yesterday whether his fireball reloaded strategy for the 2nd half would have been profitable on my filter, it would have been but would have taken a lot more time using that compared to LCS on 60 or 70 for similair profits. I've read a couple of the interviews, think it's good to read success stories from people who've started the same as most on here.

@daniel-cooper i might be wrong but i think @Martin-Walker has tested this with any score? I did but didnt track odds with that batch, the final batch i tracked odds but with the rules we have now on them so no games over 2.5, no team 2-0 up and no 2nd half goal on entry. Its gave about a 6-8% increase in strike rate and given odds on minimum is 1.50 thats a healthy boost to profits.
Also the way the filter is setup its not focusing on any scorelines. Its only looking for one more goal regardless of anything else. I just found that these rules optimised the strategy, in pursuit of perfection

@daniel-cooper its a cracking filter, every criteria makes sense and its not filled with buffer rubbish we dont need. Anything over 75% from 65 mins onwards is going to net you a profit, odds at that time are almost always over 1.50 so its just a solid bank builder. Im trying not to over hype it as itll lead to people being over confident with it but its been thoroughly tested and as you can see by how i test the FHG project i dont do shortcuts of testing.
@John-Hurst the filter for me averages a goal around 73 mins, however with a 70 min qualifying criteria it averages around 76-78 mins. Iv started to track this for people who want it. The filter is as anyone wants to use it, my main trades show my ideal range of goal times (+70 mins) and odds range i prefer. But after testing this filter can perform as a nice bank builder at much lower odds too.
Over confidence is always lurking! Temptation based on what I’ve seen it to always back the next over regardless of current score, HOWEVER wouldn’t dare adjust the approach until I’ve seen 80 more results on it!
Thanks so much for sharing though shame about Malmo at the weekend but thats just the way things pan out sometimes
-
@john-hurst i haven’t recorded the goal times to be honest, just the scoreline at 55, 65 and FT! But can look into it for you!
-
@daniel-cooper and yes the viking vs molde game was too early and was a slim price

@darri i think that would be a cracking idea mate have a set of direct questions im sure there will be a few on here that would take part maybe @Ryan-Carruthers @martin-futter can look into this and put a few feelers out
I am sure I have read interview style posts somewhere on btc already. Forgive but I cannot remember where but I am sure Keith Anderson was one. Feel free to shoot me down in flames if I am wrong
Sorry forgot to add I think it is a great idea too, would provide a lot of insight to someone lik eme for sure.
-
@daniel-cooper what is the average sh goal time mate? If you can get odds of 2.0 or even a bit less it seems like you have found good value there. (so far!)
-
Since I have been tracking the SHG filter (and it wasn't until Saturday just gone that I amended it to only look at last 5 games rather than last 10!) I have 20 games as follows:
90% of these games (18) had a goal after 55 minutes
80% of these games (16) had a goal after 65 minutes9 of these games had over 2.5 goals at 55 minutes, thus wouldn't qualify, HOWEVER:
Of these 9 games, 8 of them had a goal after 55 minutesVery strong filter regardless of current score! Only a small sample size mind

rosenborgHi Darri. I usually use Flashscore to find my top scorers and assisters for a team and then compare that to who’s on the pitch on sofascore. How do you personally determine your key players?
Out of interest, did anyone enter Viking vs Molde? I don't think I weas trading at the time, but you'd be glad if you did!

@darri i joined his course over a year ago and was super sceptical as its not the cheapest but in fairness to him he has a lot of content and its well put together. he does drone on a bit at times and there is a lot of plugging but on the whole its quite good value to a beginner. a lot of his strategies are just variations of what we do on here and to be honest i have adapted them to suit myself. ive just joined his facebook group and there are a few people from here on there, at the moment its quite good. i did pick up in the interviews with the pros what you are saying, they do seem to basically do similar strategies with the emphasis being mainly on mindset and discipline. there are definitely some good nuggets of info from the interviews.

someone just sent me a link to see the sporttradinglife guy do an interview with one of his members which gives a very good insight to traders of all levels, tho it seems he is only targeting his best traders (marketing ) but while i dont like people online selling this way i did read it for fairness and his videos are very good. I saw he has done a couple of these and they are quite popular. I suppose when its comes to trading his course and videos are the first ones that pop up.
So after reading a couple of them its really interesting to see common themes and common methods people talk about for success. It can be easy for me just to talk about topics etc and just for you guys to go yeah he just gets lucky, or its only him that does it that way etc. But i want you to look at what tis guy says. While i have no proof about how successful he is he defo has the right mindset and i have cut out this part of his interview for you guys to see:
"Finally, if you were starting today, what advice would you give yourself?
Ignore the noise online (and even offline) and believe in what you do. If something is working for you it doesn’t matter what other people say or think.
You must use stats before you enter any trade (or a bet). And if you can, watch the match live or on a website like Bet365. The reason being that so much can happen in a match—VAR, red cards, two teams may park the bus and are ready to jump to bed, so to speak. Topics like that, you need to follow somehow, the stats don’t show you those things.
What works for me is that if after a goal and the green color is close to going into the red, 99% of the time, take that small profit. Don’t allow a trade to go from green to red. That will mean that I hope for the best and also mean that I get used to taking a risk instead of making a profit. You are here to make a profit, so take it when you see it. ? Don’t hope for the best; take the profit again and again and again.
Don’t overthink things. Keep it stupid simple (stay in the kiss mode). It’s a good thing to have the “what if” shown on Betfair, but it’s not a good idea to sit and see a game end and think, wow, “what if” a goal had been made. I might have been able to make a more significant profit, but the situation is, you have a profit in your trade, so take it or take a free bet.
Do not hunt the money, but let the money come to you. Make the profit and build up that bank."
A really well worded answer and it just a reminder for people that this is how people are getting consistent success its not just me doing these things others are too and well. We are seeing more and more taking the same kind of approach as me, we have a host of these guys starting to shine on this forum. Keep it up lads. May in the future look into sportsradinglife guy and see if any off his stuff is good, always just assumed he did videos and a course never knew he had a community aswell
I cannot stress the last sentence enough stop the hunting for trades and money as its not how this works. Let the trades come to you and you dictate what happens dont let the markets bully you into getting invloved in games and bad prices.
