I will add that i trade with no goal yet in second half and around 70 mins with odds around 1.8+
To get the 24 points i mentioned -
Its very similar to the shg filters i built using the same format your fhg one is being built with, it brings up the exact same games just allows me to enter some on a different scoreline. These have produced great results and your fhg one is showing promise so anyone looking to build a filter should consider this approach.

@daniel-cooper its surprising a little how its kind of such a basic filter yet it does such a large amount of filtering, shows that not all opinions on dead cert 2nd half goals are actually about. Its a market over used and with the most traders on it, so we need to be finding those edges, this filter seems to do the trick. Most of the things i do from FHGs and LCS/LTDs tend to be less qualifiers compared to many other traders but tends to produce a consistent amount each month. Its also weird when you look at others filters how they ram so much onto them yet produce huge lists?! Keep everything simple, if btc goes down for a day or 2 our strategy is so simple we could even manually do these.

its always up for risk or reward when you post something like this for folk to use or improve as sometimes they deviate from how you would trade them but so far these look cracking. Once you get to say milestones of 30-50-80-100 let me know and maybe see if it needs tweaked again or if its solid for everyone to just use, always better when more than just myslef has had success with them too. Sooo glad iv helped others find something they can build on 
Yeah looks super from the early results, will let you know when at a larger milestone! It doesn't produce daily trades by any means, but I think that shows it is truly filtering out the worthwhile games!

The alternative to my fhg for anyone looking for a reliable 2nd half goal filter, its been tested. This will get lost in the blog so if you want it then save it to your filters now. This isnt the strategy i spoke about earlier just a quick post for anyone looking to find a solid bank builder. Id advise odds of 1.4/1.5 or greater depending on your style for these. Leagues etc are your own personal preference.

This is the filter I'm referring too, of the 13 results I have tracked, 92.31% (all but 1 game) had a goal after 55 minutes, 76.92% (all but 3 games) had a goal after 65 minutes. With all 3 of those games that didn't hit after 65 mins, if you followed your advice of not entering if already O2.5 goals, you wouldn't have entered any of the 3! Still early doors for my tracking of it, but looks good

This is without using inplay stats, i have added a column to my spreadsheet now that i put yes or no in to say wether the inplay stats were good or bad. Lets see if this can improve it or not

@darri around 60 games, 7 were on the new filter you showed.
I have them all grouped under the same p/l as theyre all similar. 24 points up over about 8 weeks -
@martin-walker how many games you got so far? is the filters i helped with still been consistent even through this covid period?

Its similar to the shg filters i created with your help so just chucked it straight in the mix as those filters were doing really well

@ben-dobie keep it simple and manageable. Take a look at my sheets thats all i do. I used to do so much more similar to richard or the btc ones but i just dont need some of the info. All you really need is selection, odds, a stat to track and p/l. From them you can track strike rate and its really that simple. I hope the FHG project is showing you all that you really need to track. From its current state the only things left to add are entry odds and p/l. Dont overdo it or it will just feel like a total grind and you will lose interest. Everything i do is so basic but manageable. Everything from filters to tracking is all super simple and easy to do, the more complicated a strategy/trading method is the more i lose interest as im likely to make mistakes or it become a grind.

@Darri that SHG filter you gave out a week or so ago is insane. The strike rate is nuts, even when theres over 2.5 goals already at 55, madness.

@darri I'm really consistent with tracking my filter results but crap at tracking my actual trades, think I include too much info. Wondering if just exporting the results from Betfair each day and adding a couple of columns is sufficient??

looks like you boys are all on the right track, we are all still learning and no one has the secret to success, just good principles and methods that help make good decisions. Tracking trades for me was one of the bigger changes thinking back that made the biggest difference. I certainly wouldnt be doing late goals if i hadnt done that. The problem is its the most boring part for some and hurts especially after a loss or two. Its just one of those tasks in any job (admin) thats a bit of a ball ache but necessary to maintain your consistency and growth.
