WI price worth watching after lunch too short could be drip lays for a period one wicket could trigger there collapse ..

Really can't fathom what England's game plan is here. Do they think they can skittle India out and then enforce the follow-on? Or are they simply playing for a draw? Seems a massively negative tactic for a team in such a powerful position.
-
@james-woodroffe Archer's batting for England has been terrible. When he started for Sussex he was averaging more than 30 and was aiming to become a bowling all-rounder, but I guess you can't have everything.
-
@richard-futter I just popped out and came back with Bess and Leach in and thought the same thing. The only thing I can think is Leach is in ahead of Archer so maybe a burst tonight but time seems to be running out for the day.
I’m an idiot Archer has been and gone how good is my maths when it’s 8 down.

Can't understand why England haven't declared. Can't see any point in the tail enders prodding about and wasting precious time. Does Root seriously fear that they could lose from here?
-
Layed the draw at 1.7 this morning. As I said at the outset, I certainly don't rule out a draw here, but it will be astonishing if it doesn't trade at a considerably higher price in the next 3 days and 2 sessions. And, as Sir Geoffrey always says, never judge a pitch until both sides have batted on it.

RE LAY DRAW in INDIA... seriously elite stokes
-
Couldn’t help myself LAY BANG 1.12 ... 1.3-1.4 be nice . Could take a few sessions

Draw virtually at evens, which is pretty astonishing. Matches in India often start like this, then accelerate very quickly on days 4 and 5. It has been known for England to score 450 in the first Innings in India and still lose by an innings!
I noticed this when SA toured India in 2019. India were piling on 600 batting first draw price would get to 2 and India would win by an innings.
-
yeah looks like a day 5 market

quick word on WI BANG ... WI are showing some real resistance in this format currently . BANG have already been as low as 1.08 early day 2 ... Could be a real earn low odds BANG lay later in test as WI come to bat again 2nd INNS .. pending how long WI bat 1st inns and how long BANG bat to secure comfortable lead the draw could end up quite short too. right on halfway mark in the test drinks day3 second session
Wow man that draw price has plummeted quickly to under 4's
