@keith-anderson thats so so useful thank you.. really early days for me and have certainly made some mistakes (stupid mistakes actually) its the mental challenge and confidence which I'm trying to address .. most particularly with when to exit.. and when to stay in and keep the faith with out it becoming just a bet ..great insight thank you ...

CONFESSION TIME:
Don't be too hard on yourself if you make a mistake. You will make lots of mistakes when trading. You'll may even make lots of trading mistakes in the one day. The trick is start minimising the mistakes you make over time. Of course, no matter how good or successful you are at trading, you'll never be error free. I found this out the night before last when I was trading the Coppa Italia match between Inter Milan v Juventus. I had just LCS in the Blackpool match and it was looking like a loss. I switched my attention to the Coppa Italia match thinking I could minimise my loss on the Blackpool game. Of course, Blackpool scored (so I didn't even need to carry out the trade in the Inter match). I was chasing a loss. I also thought the Coppa Italia game was over one leg - like the previous round. It wasn't! I could've / should've got out of that trade on two occasions - I didn't.
I wouldn't like tell people how much I lost, it was a substantial sum of money. Of course I made it back, plus more last night, but that's not the point. I gave myself a hard-time, but I have to remember, it's been a long time since I made such a big mistake.
When you lose, don't lose the lesson. Hit the rest button. Reflect, introspect and self-correct.

A productive night. Not much around tomorrow. Will probably lay under 1.5 goals in the Spurs v Chelsea match tomorrow. I hate Thursdays!

It actually wouldn't bother me at all. I been to watch both Rangers and Celtic numerous times (I'd lean towards Rangers, but that's only because I was brought up in a working class Protestant area of Belfast!).
