Just had a look and depended on time of night and day these are the matches I’ve made a short list for in regards to laying poor servers. It will also depend on price. The strategy is quite simple I either back the receiver or lay the server and the entry points are
0-15
15-15
15-30
30-15
30-30
40-30
DeuceThe exit points are
40-15
30-40
Ad - Deuce
Deuce - AdIf the receiver leads 0-40 or 15-40 I’ll wait to see if they break but if it gets to 30-40 I’ll close out.
As you can see I might exit at 40-15 but re enter at 40-30. If the server wins the next point I’ll take the loss from that service game and wait to see if an opportunity presents in the next service game. I only look for matches without a clear favourite and matches with girls who are either not great servers or a bit flakey. It’s also possible to enter on a number of occasions during a particular service game but the aim is to get a break point against the server and not necessarily a break of serve. Along with laying the first set winner strategy I found this to be a pretty profitable strategy but I only use it on the WTA tour and will be continuing with it again now we have some tennis again.
The matches I’ve got my eye on for the first round of the two lead ups areTig v Babos
Ostapenko v Arrani
Stouser v Bouzkova
Bonaventura v Collins
Kuzmova v Gavrilova
Zvonoreva v the bad Pliskova sister
Rus v Venus Williams
Hsieh v Van UytvancskI should point out that despite what I said earlier it does work well deep in tournaments when you have top players against each other but earlier your looking for girls who are evenly matched in ability and price.
