Ireland v Afghanistan series will be live on Free Sports for those with Sky or Virgin in the U.K. with the first of 3 ODI’s tomorrow morning.
Afghanistan will go in as favourites a pretty new look Irish side but should be competitive cricket.
Sky have also secured the rights to the PSL which will begin late February. -

@nathan-bennett What I found fascinating having to endure the Fox coverage was how little certain commentators knew about these young players who had been plying their trade in the IPL. Mark Waugh was totally clueless in particular. Players like Gill and Sundar are already accustomed to the pressure that comes with playing in the cauldron that is the IPL.
Yes test cricket is a different beast but yes there was also a lot of India will just roll over and die mentality in both the markets and the media it seemed. -
What we've seen lately with india and debutants spoken abit about this to few mates . no one really does there home work on such players and how prices markets can be strangled against at times, of the view nowa days the hunger determination is a massive factor ! obviously want to witness some evidence on the pitch but room for margins in markets forsure .. just having read up on west indies , could be fielding up to 6 debutants and current 3.9 dogs v bangladesh who do have great/ superior recent record against .. could be involved later on

@richard-futter I also did the same thing with the draw lay at 1.70 and had a bit of a panic at 1.40 so its interesting to hear that sometimes even the best have those moments. I got myself in to a state when I laid the draw on day 2 and the weather came rather than just closing my position.
I don't know why I felt it I dunno if it was a hunch or match reading or what it was but I was convinced from day 3 that if the weather held on India were going to win the test. At lunch on day 5 with Pujara grinding the Aussies into the ground and Gill going nicely I was even more confident. I slept till tea and when I woke I saw the score and something said, remove some liability hold your nerve India have this. I still closed out a touch to soon, but the green was enough and the way I got myself out of a red mess had me thinking ok now we push on in 2021.Still very much a work in progress and will be for some time yet.
Cheers. -

Test match trading at its best.
Who thought of this result after Sydney' disaster collapse. The guts shown by this Indian team and the captaincy of Rahane have been incredible. Will be so interesting to see how England fare against them next month.

@james-woodroffe So pleased to hear you're making good profits - if I can help anyone to do that then I'm a happy chappie. 7/10 is excellent; I certainly make plenty of mistakes, like laying the draw at 1.7 at one stage, then panicking when it rapidly went into 1.4. Thought someone must know something about the weather that I didn't. The great thing is being able to stay cool and win back those losses and start putting more green on the board.
As you say patience is a massive virtue in trading; I always say knowing when to do nothing is the most important thing in cricket trading, which is sometimes more easily said than done.
Looking forward to SL-England 2 later this week; expecting a very close contest this time round.

@nathan-bennett yeah mate it was big but I could have gone bigger and then perhaps I wouldn't have learnt as much. It was actually beneficial to going from bad red to strong green. If I had of left it maybe it might have felt more like a bet if that makes sense. 7 out of 10 for me also I think.
-
@james-woodroffe mate forever learning give myself a 7/10 trade execution this test #couldofbeenanything still big
-
@richard-futter I continued to learn so much from this match on my path to doing this full time. The main two things were patience and to trust myself. There was one other which was accepting that it’s fine to go against Australia even if it makes me feel grubby cause the green is very cleansing. Thanks again to you and @Nathan-Bennett for your great insights.

@richard-futter oath 100% . Was the right move to lay as first trade on the back of hype to depleted Indian team to set up the rest of the test .
-
@sameer me haha more so aus not winning tho #twobowlersonly

There you are. I said on day one there was no way India could win this match . Just as well they drifted to well over 50 early in the match - a perfect example of why trading is far superior to gambling.
-
This has been unbelievable today an India back to go with some crazy low lays just awesome. What a match!!
