Balance of todays Split Stakes loaded on the bot... All set & forget 🤞

    0_1610885243066_Trades 17-01.JPG

    Todays SHG watch is Liverpool

Got it wrong yesterday by saying to Lay plus 2 goals but trade is as follows

Back Plus 2 goals @ HT for 50% stake
Back Plus 2 goals on 55/58mins or plus 1 decimal place to above odds

Remove green on first goal (wait 2/3mins if goal is scored pre 60mins)

Take red circa 80mins or if back price on o0.5 goals equals your average stake on above 2 stakes take red

Todays Fireball Split Stakes set up on the bot for today (just shy of 5pts green MTD)

    0_1610793265495_Todays Trades.JPG

Todays SHG watch list - Must be 0-0, 1-0, 2-0 or 0-2 (This suits score lines on my main Goal filter)

    Sparta Rotterdam v PSV

HT Trade... Will lay Plus 2 goals @ HT for 0.5pts & 0.5pts on 55mins... Remove red on first goal or take red on circa 80mins

Unfortunately a red in the Torino Split Stake which although may have been aided by the red card it left plenty of time for Spezia to take advantage of the extra man... However as the bot is set and forget I didn't intervene, but some decent green from other games on the bot still produced 0.1pts green plus 2 early SHG in Sparta game return full green from 1st stake matched (with early SHG I will always leave 3mins before greening up and if trading Split Stakes manually will wait 5mins in FH before greening up)

Total green for the day was all but 0.7pts

    0.1pts green on the bot
    0.585pts green SHG (Sparta)

bit of newbie whats the fireball method

@richard-latimer the main reason to avoid red cards is the price. The markets will quickly devalue the goal markets as they then expect a goal. Its nothing to do with if statistically with a red a goal wont come its just a case of value and how a red card might affect a game. With regards to that game without sounding after the fact you even said it had poor inplay stats so that with the red card might not have been the best value trade. I dont think anyone would ridicule you man, but if your posting saying that it sounds like you already had a reason not to trade it. For me i personally think traders need to limit risk and find reasons not to trade (traders) and for me you already deep down knew that game presented a lot of risk to the norm, not for the red but when you have both red and lack of strong inplay stats.

I was trying to follow my data without emotion. Im doing the same today in that my data isn't looking so hot so time to paper trade until I'm confident.

@ryan-carruthers First week on the site and there is so much information, not only in the videos and blogs but looking through the forum and seeing how people interact. Lots to learn so will sit back and soak it up until I have something worth adding...

@mark-gorton Yep the weekends can be mental, nothing to say you have to place money on the trades - just watching the games you were going to trade with the market up is one of the best things you can do as you focus on what’s happening in the game and then compare that to the odds - instead of watching stakes 🙂

Hi all, This is my first weekend with BTC and I am new to Sports trading. I have been watching the forum feds and the advice with regards to stick to weekdays or paper trading until you are in the groove seems bang on, this weekend stuff is manic and has too many leagues for me. I have missed a few trades due to a lack of understanding with regards to odds/times and match flow but have enjoyed the process and the trading angles sent out have at least got me close. I am on small stakes so think I am about a bottle of wine down.

At the risk of ridicule as inplay stats looks poor and there's a red, I fancy a goal in Torino. Will get in soon.

    Got 1.76

I knew the fact people don't like reds but I keep ignoring the reds and they keep winning. Until today that is haha!

Strong on my filter ticking other boxes for a FHG if it doesn’t happen then so be it.

0-1 thanks to a penalty still slightly red on the football however.

@darri dam right I stole it bro 😂😂cause it works and yeah there’s nothing wrong with skipping the weekends. I’m only trading the football today cause we are all home chilling out doing our own thing and I have the time. I wouldn’t be concerned with what I’m missing if we had plans for the day. As Ryan drills in there’s always another trade. That doesn’t help when you’re having a Red Day but also it’s the middle of January there’s plenty of time to work out what works for you and what doesn’t.

@james-woodroffe stealing my sayings? 😂 😜 pre-inplay-price, 100% correct tho, if i was to advise anyone just starting or who is still trying to build a solid strategy id maybe just avoid weekends. They can make or break traders and that risk is unnecessary at the beginning. Then when you feel confident in your approach add the weekend games in. More games works both ways more profit or more risk so if your finding them hard work on midweek stuff get good at that then tackle weekends.
