Yep. You can "shop around" as well: see which bookie/exchange offers the best odds.

Those of you who are put off by the liability of laying the draw: you could just back Double chance Home or Away.

Thanks Stuart, didn't know that market existed. I assume that if you back home or away your basically saying that it won't be a draw 🙂

    Hi Guillaume,

I'm waiting on this one....The St Johnstone price is just above 2, or at least it was last time I looked. If it stays below 2, even at 1.99, I'll place my trade.

    Ok thank you !

There will be loads of games that fit the filter, Terry.
Imagine how you would have felt if Erzurum had equalised and the game ended 1-1.

ha ha exactly that's why I didn't get in. When a goal goes in do you get out or leave it? Also how do you work out pts I don't get it lol

Points: simply your bank divided into units. Most of the time a point is 1% of your total bank.
    Bank=£100, a point =£1.

Points are more valid ways of measuring profit.

If I told you I won £2,000 in a month, you may be impressed. If, though, I said my bank is £2 million, that £2,000, which seemed impressive, is only 0.1% of my bank or 0.1 points.

If on the other hand I say I won 100 points a month and I had a starting bank of £100, I have doubled my bank.

The second case may be a lower monetary value but suggests a better trading record.

Points profit is telling you what fraction or multiple of your bank you are winning or losing.

It's also a more respectful and less invasive or boastful way of documenting in public. It puts everyone on a level playing field rather than saying, yay I just greened at 2k where someone Greened at £2.00.

Richard makes a good point, but the behaviour he refers to, thankfully, doesn't happen in this forum. BTC is a t**t-free zone.

    Apart from me, obviously......

Hi mate, very good stuff. In your spreadsheet it shows ave odds and back odds. What are you classing as back odds. Do you enter at whatever odds the draw is at pre game or do you set the odds to be matched Inplay?

The back odds part is there for the t-test, which determines how likely the results of the strategy are due to chance.
Lay odds- depends. Sometimes if they are lower than the filter, I just lay at that price. If higher, queue and hope there is no early goal. Usually works.

I like these from half time but the only problem for me is that a lot of the games are the same as I'm picking for my late goals atm which means I'm focussing on that more.

However will be tracking with interest as they seem to turn over a consistent profit year on year. Long may it continue.

Stay in. Early on I sometimes wanted to cash out on 80 mins if the dog was leading but getting battered by the fave. But long term, it's better to stay in
