    Two for today;

    St Mirren Rangers 1500
    Newcastle Liverpool 2000

    -5 points today.

    Somewhat conflicted: a draw against Liverpool is a good result for us....

    Opens fine for me. I don't have the sheet saved on this computer; it's on a memory stick.

    I'll use the tool of Satan (google sheets- really hate it) and see if that works for you:

    I'm sure it worked for me before so I wonder if it's another flash player related issue as it's directly from the site.

    I've gained so much from all you good people that I thought it was time to give something back and what better time to do it than now.

    This is a LTD pre match set and forget, with away teams of odds 2 or less. It is very league specific. I've collected data on it going back to 2013. It has a degree of variance, but it is long term profitable. I've carried out a t-test and the results are profitable long term.

    The table and graph in the spreadsheet show the monthly profit (around 6 pts), yield and p value (essentially a less than 1/10,000 probability that these results are a fluke).

    There are a tonne of ways to modify this:

    1. Check team news
    2. Check motivation
    3. LTD at HT if drawing to get better odds
    4. Cash out at 80 mins to avoid late goals, if you are so inclined.

    The odds on the spreadsheet are from bet365 maximum odds, which may be lower than those on betfair, so I usually queue my lay bets a few ticks below.

    Even without doing any of those the strategy is profitable as can be seen from the spreadsheet.

    @Stuart-Capstick I can't open the spreadsheet you've linked? Are others able? If I click it I get nothing and if I open in new tab I get a blank page.

    Did you LTD the Leeds game? I noticed the odds drop and got in FH. Turned out nicely.

    @stuart-capstick I've noticed a slight difference in higher leagues and would not be surprised to see things improve once this is all over but yeah nothing massive like you say

    Agreed. Also, a lot is said about the effects of COVID. I haven't really noticed much in the major leagues/top divisions; these players are financially and professionally motivated, looked after well etc.
    But, the lower league players don't have any of these benefits. They also have to worry about their finances= another set of variables that would have to be factored in any strategy.

    @richard-latimer

    Seems to depend. If there are other games on that evening/afternoon, liquidity can be crap. If, however, like yesterday, there aren't many other games on and it's a top of the table team (in this case, Torquay), liquidity is fine.

    I should probably add that the Eng Nat is the least profitable of the leagues and, along with Serie B, I'm only getting involved if the favourite is one of the top teams in the division.

    The Torquay game had a late goal.

    There are times when I've been more "interventionist"- backing/laying overs etc.

    As I said in the opening post, this could easily be optimised.

    None for today unless the Leeds price drops.

    I've come away from the national leagues as didn't find them to be very consistent. Also, what is liqudity like?
