I will say, I benefited from staying out of the 3pm games which I have done for ages now. Never ever seemed to make a profit on all these English leagues in the 3pm melee.

Did you suffer FOMO when you started this? I have thought about just not trading sat afternoons at all

@bottlabroon I’ve taken a lot of your posts on board lately mate, it’s given me another perspective alongside the late goal 👍🏻

Second this. Whilst I have not actively traded this way (yet) I like the slightly different spin on the FHG and have taken a lot from your posts.

problem i am finding is peole are keen to post selections and lists but dont provide evidence that their lists are profitable or successful.

and so members are losing money from it.

it would be nice to have a seperate forum for expereinced traders to post only but also back up what they say with their results recorded so people can follow with confidence knowing that they are successful selections.

I can only speak for myself Gary but I don't post lists or trades on here for anybody to follow. My only aim is to demonstrate an alternative way of trading to the 1 goal winner trades that are very prevalent (and very profitable for some) on here.
I'm trying to demonstrate methodology not tips.

Seems like I missed another fun Saturday. Slightly down from what I have done while spending the gold reserves of Fort Knox on Christmas shopping only to now find out all the buffet food is solely for us haha!

Was on LTD in Liepzig, another surprise that one. This being said I've now 3 selections from LTD in Bundesliga and only 1 has been a winning trade. Overall the s/r has been great.

@gary-brown I totally get what you mean, new members come onto the site and will just trade the games posted and then because they lose money will not stick around. I do tho think that it just comes down to the individuals decision. I think the best way to use the forum isnt to follow the selections but to analyse them and ask yourself would i have traded that if he/she hadnt posted that. @James-Woodroffe thats a good example, if you see one of mine or keiths games and you dont like it you dont have to trade it but try to see why we are entering those games regardless if it wins or loses.

@ben-dobie exactly it’s one thing if you enter the market and go to post your trade because you’ve done due diligence and are comfortable with your decision and somebody else has already posted the same trade a bit like me with Lee earlier. Sometimes I just thumbs up rather than repeat the post. However if you see someone like Darri or Keith post and you’re like “Ooooo I gotta get on that” and don’t bother to check then you’re doing yourself a disservice and as you say following a tip. I know that for a bit especially when I first started I did that with Keith’s trades. Now I’m happy to say to myself. “Eh, you know what I might skip that one”. Because you’ve had a look and gone “Mmmm dunno I’ll pass”. I’ve missed profit obviously but I’ve also been happy if I have cause I thought “despite everything something was not quite right for ME” and that’s fine. No offence @Gary-Brown i don’t think a separate forum is the way forward mate. Hope this post makes sense.

@daniel-mills if you post a trade that is because it has met your criteria, therefore its not a bad trade if someone wants to jump on that its their choice they should know that they wont be copying every trade you do therefore if your tip is a loser that is only 1 selection off of your plan the rest might be winners.

See, I thought posting on here added an extra layer of accountability to my own trading. I've never considered it as a 'tip' for someone else to follow, but maybe that was a bit naive. Had plenty of ups and downs, so hopefully not cost anyone too much.

Also, I've had advice from traders directly off the back of posting trades here so, for me that's been really helpful.

don't worry, the last thing we want is people feeling bad for posting a losing trade. we must always remember who places the trade makes their own decision to follow or not, it is entirely on them. otherwise no one would ever post anything for fear of others losing being their fault, which it is not. we all have our own sound minds (well hopefully all of us lol)
