Sorry mate, a Mac is something I put on when it’s raining
Don’t know the first thing about them. I use 7zip on windows. Thanks buddy, it would seem that the file was too big to download, just trying one month now and there is alot of data in there, just reading the files to see what they mean
Yes mate, they are big chunks of data. I started trying to build a useful database with it last year taking it month at a time but I just couldn’t handle it due to the sheer size.
So I have found a really good website that might be worth a look @Ryan-Carruthers @Martin-Futter @Adam
I downloaded a data file from Betfair and then instead of decompressing it I loaded it in to this site and it gives all the traded vols etc
http://www.oddsvisualizer.com/
You can then select each game or market or put it in an excel sheet!!

Does anyone know of any sites that supply data ie the odds that were in play at the time a goal went in? For example if I wanted to look at the odds in the O2.5 market in the 11th min of a game from 2 weeks ago can you find these anywhere?
TIA
You can download Betfair's data at 1 minute intervals free from here:
Betfair Historical DataBut be warned unless you're fairly proficient in manipulating data and databases it can be a nightmare to work with
All those matches, all those markets, minute by minute is one helluva chunk of data.....Ha ha thanks buddy, I'm struggling to even open the download lol

I don't however I think this would be an excellent bit of kit! @terry-cooke
Thanks @Ryan-Carruthers I've managed to download some basic data from Betfair but its in a tar file and I'm trying to figure out how to open it, got damn Mac computers lol
