A few things happening so far today but it's been far from manic for me.
I missed Gamba Osaka by seconds this morning as I was at a party and told no electronics. Did a quick beer run to the shop and took the opportunity. It was all looking rosy but mobile signal crap in shop and by the time I got on, checked time, price etc it was too late and there was a pen. Great for the data still. Another green on the goal selections.
Got home mid afternoon and Pyramids were losing in Egypt. I've aluded to the fact I like that league to trade before and once again they didn't let me down with a late equaliser and even a winner not that I stayed in.
A little later Legia went 0-1 behind. I had it on my list to watch and it wasn't a goal selection. Almost laid the away (actually I did but luckily was able to trade out immediately) when I realised it wasn't ELO either. Titanic getting a few qualifiers again now. They went down by 2 goals and I stuck a lay of 1.51 on. Legia got a goal back on 61 and I just greened immediately. Pretty much treating it as if I can't get a ratio of 1:1 against my risk reward when the first goal back comes I green up straight away. If I can get more than my initial risk I will guarantee that much and leave the rest on a full comeback.
Anyway despite what I could make out as intense pressure the equaliser never came so happy to take the small green.
Last trade so far (may be 1 or 2 more). Fenix went 1-0 up against Nacional. Decent odds and inplay stats looked good. The lay went on after liquidity settled down a bit and Nacional duly did the business.
Much better than last Saturday!
Oh yeah and just before I left the party I noted Shandong were losing. Luckily it was late so only laid around 1.25. Doesn't feel quite so bad missing Gamba Osaka after that.

@ben-dobie couldnt agree more with this, the weekend should be just the same process you go through as you would on a weekday. If there are too many games on your filters after you further research then maybe your trying too much. Take my blog for example, 1 FHG (data collecting) and 1 SHG. There is always the mad rush once you find something that makes money, always wanting to find games to trade on it. But if you add up all the times this has led to people losing money and then compare it to the pros who just take it steady its a massive difference. The industry still appeals as a get rich quick thing. One solid strat slow and steady will make you a stack in 3-4 years. Dont rush to that full time bank cause once you get there youll have done it with bad habits
@Darri agree 100% mate....glad I've spotted it and tbh I'm glad it's happened this weekend as it will help me.more than hinder me if I've learnt from it ... as always to everybody thanks for commenting it's what makes this community what it is

So for a big weekends day of trading i would look to do the following and i believe it has really helped. I would export all the data from the filters to the relevant sheets on my trading spreadsheet. Even if i dont trade something i still record the data. From each individual strategy sheet i would copy that days trades to a 'working trades' sheet, which is basically the trades for that day. I would then organise them into KO time and make a note of the time i needed to be involved (ie for a SH trade then i would note what time HT is and for a FH trade then say 15' after KO if looking to get in on 20'). I would then get picky and do the following things to narrow it down:
- Remove any games from lesser leagues
- Check liquidity. If any games have gaps in prices then liquidity will likely be poor so i remove these
- Check prices. Once you know the market you trade then you can usually see from pre-KO prices what the price will be at the time you wish to enter. For example, if you trade O2.5 and you are looking to get in on 20' at a minimum of 2.0 then a pre-KO price of 1.3 will rule this out so its better to rule it out early
- If you have a 1st and 2nd favourite strategy then consider dropping ALL of the games from the 2nd favourite strategy
- Trading times. Consider what times you will be available to trade. If you have 20 games spread from 10am to 10pm then you cant trade efficiently for 12 hours, even if you are dipping in and out. Try to set trading blocks so you can focus purely on trading and then switch off after your trading session has finished. Dont try to be switched on to trading all day as it can get mentally draining
- Once youve got a shortened shortlist then go through the games which are left and narrow them down further by individual game research, cutting out any with red flags (top scorer not playing, game at neutral venue etc etc)
It sounds like a lot but it should be a very quick process when done a few times. Data can still be collected from the other games, this is just to create a trading diary for the day

I use it for fhg, odds 1.65, not every game on it

@martin-walker frode adapted that is on the filter...over2.5 at ht if match is 0-0

@xhenis-tora sorry i dont know what this means?

2.5 over at ht if 0-0 at min 21 ?? -
@xhenis-tora i do fhg and shg. I use frodes fhg as a base filter and alans new goal filter. and my shg was built with the help of darri and his blog.
Id suggest anyone looking to build a profitable filter follow the process he shows on his blog

I’ve got to echo what Darri said. I used to trade 3-4 strategies but only one was a developed strategy, the others were ‘half strategies/ideas’. I think I did it because I needed enough to trade mid-week, but it killed me at weekends and every trade got very minimal attention. I rarely made a profit at weekend, I was trading all day and it stressed me out. This time round I have 2 filters I use, one is more developed and has a slight preference over the other but I’ve been sure to really trim down the weekends games. Today I had the biggest list I’d had for ages. I cut it right down in no time. If I couldn’t trim them down enough then I’d simply drop my least favourite strategy (still record for data purposes) and concentrate on the filter with the better record

@martin-walker what strategy do u use?if you can share ?

@xhenis-tora i dont do those strategies so i couldnt say
