Right could do with seeing some more goals now... My biggest concern is that Qingdao have been a bit quiet although did have one missed big chance in the FH
sometimes good also to loose trades haha

Yes a great point. Although not possible to see without doing it lol. You may well be correct though.

You could also argue that more people may start to use the exchanges rather than bookies.
A stronger competitor would advertise itself more; betfair doesn't need to as it is pretty much the only game in town. When I tell people about the exchange they are shocked by how much better the odds are than in bookies. -

@matt-wood interesting point!
Yea I dont know what the answer is.
Kinda the same problem with broadcasting, Sky was accused of being a monopoly on sports broadcasting years back, which it was and I agree is a problem. But the alternative is the sports get split up over multiple broadcasters meaning a customer now needs to subscribe to many companies to get all the same sports they used to get in one place.

If you are trading on the big events, there isn't that much tangible difference. It's only really noticeable on smaller leagues (but profitable ones) such as Norway's OBOS ligaen this afternoon.
I wish there was stronger competition for betfair.
Do you think if there was a stronger, viable alternative to BF it would just dilute the money though? Thus leaving both companies with liquidity issues?

@alan-steward nice one, see where the second half takes us. Expect at least one
Nice and early would be good

@john-hurst No, I would stay in and Lay u1.5 goals on the 75min mark... Have more often than not scratched or got double bubble
Which is why I generally only trade o2.5 goals with 0.25pts to allow loading LCS at evens or lower and to lower my exposure
-
@stuart-capstick only using as i have no choice. I suspended my betfair a few years ago when i was spending more than i should and it now means it is permanently closed now
-
@alan-steward yes all matched mate
