Listening to 5 live the other day, best time for wickets at old Trafford is after tea. From a steward who’s spent 30+ years watching cricket there

Don't see England winning today, especially without the extra batsman. 250 chase is about 350+ on this deck vs this attack.

The only worry would be Pak panicking if conceding runs.

Best play might well be laying Pak when they hit 1.2, as they could potentially flip flop with England.

Mark Ramprakash is convinced England are heading for victory. I'm not quite so sure.

Currently they're priced at 2.16, which I feel is much too short. Of course they could win it but, against the best balanced attack in world cricket on a wicket helping both pace and spin, they're going to need a great deal of application and an even bigger dollop of luck.

Personally, I'd give them about a 25% chance of winning. Either way, it should be another cracking day of Test cricket.

Bang on the money as always!

I had a lay of Pakistan. Before end of there first innings. Wanted a good start for England that didn't happen.its started to come back with a nearly scratch trade but wicket came I think around trying to gain the odd tick extra.
