@richard-latimer it goes back to what i said earler everyone reads stats differently, on recent form i felt gladbach was good for an away goal and what i was watching it was a very open game with werder coming close a few times. you are dead right on the analysis i think its so important.

The game as a whole had 90% for second half goal but each team by themselves actually had very low stats for scoring second half

@liam-willis except that if we don't analyse what went wrong doesn't that make is doomed to the same fate next time. I get what you're saying but that game had one big red flag to me and I should have followed that.

    Goals actually scored.

Not enough quality on Bremen's part to finish the job.

Leverkusen game the other day was an anomaly.

4/10 scored for a home team is poor and you would need the slack to be taken by the away team. Gladbach away ok but still only 6/10. Decent as a backup to one team scoring more but as the team you are pinning your hopes on not enough.

I wouldn't make the same trade again personally.

@john-hurst i was on the same game as were probably everyone else, the way i look at it is, would i place that trade again based on what i was watching and the inplay stats, the answer is 100% yes, they will be far more games like that, you will trade and win but every now and then a game like that will lose, and thats trading its the long term that counts.

Only a couple of 25% Split Stakes on my filters today which are already covered on Ryan's Split Stake.

    I will be following @Frode-Lia FHG & @Keith-Anderson LTD/LCS.

Plus a couple off Correct Score trades.

Guys, I suspect many traders took red on the Werder game it wasnt so much a bad trade but more of a bad result... Remember what I said last night we're traders not matched bettors πŸ‘

I took red @ Werder but my experience allowed me not to take red on the night... That will be the most powerful lesson/advice you can take from Tuesday evening... Never go off piste if it puts you in the red πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

    That's a lesson/discipline I've now just about got to grips with πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

@john-hurst morning mate. I think every trader in the country would have fancied a goal in the Bremen game last night including most people on this forum. In home and away stats they only had 1 0-0 between them all season and the game was full of attacking play. A loss like that always disappoints but take comfort that you made the right decision in trading it.

@liam-willis the one that let me down massively was a LTD on the werder monch game last night. Wasnt on trading plan but the inplay was good and the game was end to end with plenty of chances. Suppose thats what happens sometimes- the goal just doesnt come. That basically wiped all my profits from the evening which was hard to take really

@john-hurst i made the same mistake when i first started and jumped on everyones trade, what you have to remember is everyone trades differently and everyone reads the inplay stats differently, i would never avoid the forum as i think it is the most valuable part of btc, but my advice would be is if someone posts something that you like the look of, then look at the game and see if you can see a trade yourself i.e look at the stats from pregame and inplay, if its something you would trade yourself then get on it. ive made good of money on here by doing this. remember less is more if you pick 1 good trade out of 20 then thats sucessful. But yes you are right sticking to your plan is an absolute must.

I’m with you on not reading the forum in play, gives me too many ideas and end up off plan. Gotta get myself more disciplined

After last night i will be sticking to the plan for good, doing nothing more than that- takes stress away from this and is purely stats based which in the long run is always profitable. I also will avoid the forum in play as i take peoples ideas on board and deviate from the plan. Some great ideas on here in play but they are like any- some turn good some dont. The forum has helped me massively even in a week so i am grateful for that. Have learnt a sh load already πŸ™‚
