@frode-lia Unfortunately you probably got in before Pogba broke down in training

@frode-lia Hit by stop loss. Trade what you see, not what you think, is the lesson here.
markets love Liverpool at the moment don't they! guess people fear the park the bus strategy from Jose

Message from @Luke-Ridger .
Look at the Real Madrid game and the Utd vs Liverpool games for steams in the under 2.5 markets.

@john-folan Did the price drift, no? Any time the stop loss triggered?
Not when I did it. No stop losses at all
Great. Any specific time to do this for best results?
I normally look early in the morning and again about 9. usually get out before team news is due
-
Manchester United @ 2.78 is to big in my book. Going heavy in on that one.

I wouldn’t sweat it I lost a bit when I first started this but then realised you just have to keep doing them and it Profits. Get out two hours or so before a match as well and try and bare in mind a lot of idiots back these so bookies hedge out later on
-
I had a pop at it with small stakes but had to take the hit as my lay was gobbled up at 1.23 and the back at 1.24 unmatched. Had to back at 1.21 as I couldn't get filled at 1.22 due to WoM. Bah. Always seems to happen when I try this.

Hope everyone got out before team news, if one tick trading its always wise to be out 90 mins before team news, preferably earlier if high profile game .
Yep. Always out a couple of hours before. So good this strategy
-
@luke-ridger Is there anything we can work on to automate some of the signals you looked for?
I looked every morning and work out the implied odds % and the % of the market matched and compare that. Be good if we could have a couple of different ways of doing these and have some good traders with some selections shared daily which we can all do well on.

It did, two ticks. Back to sitting pretty, expect this to bounce around a little in its range now, while all those matched bettors get their lays on and the idiots blindly back. This Make Market or mastermind strategy is highly effective and very simple. Don't be afraid to take a two tick loss as you will make more than that back eventually if you do these religiously. I'm using 1k stakes which sounds loads but each tick is roughly a tenner so I'm staring at a £20 loss at the most. This is scalping in its simplest form and a lot more sedate than the horse markets. Good place to start.
What is this "Make Market" Stategy? Back at the Lay price lay at the back price? The price is so unpredictable.. When to do this scalping? What if you want to scalp and your stop loss gets triggered over and over again as the price slowly plummets?
Use the graphs as guides. If it’s level or static then it’s safe to make market or mastermind or whatever it’s called. I did well over ten matches on the Liverpool game before it moved. It doesn’t just work on any game. That’s why I put the graphs up to show people what to look for. If a price starts to plummet then you would just back likewise if it drifts you lay. It’s just patience and practice I got a lot of these wrong when I first started but I’m a lot more picky now. While I was learning I was using £2 stakes so my returns were pence, but so were my losses. I always figure if I can’t make pence i’ll never make £’s. It’s never exact and it can always go wrong that’s the nature of the beast.

@james-scott To be fair, there are many different ways to trade football markets, all markets are unpredicatable, but i first look at the range , I also record matches so for example i look at how City behave throughout the season, there are plenty of tick to two tick moves in most the games, many variables to think about. I did mentor on this market once upon a time.
