Going to lay the field in 17:45 less favourite providing at least 4 horses under 10.0 BSP.

No harm, no foul. Only favourite went below 2.02.

@martin-futter Yep reckon it will all depend on what they announce with the first wave of lockdown measures... Thought they were announcing these on Monday... Are they meeting Sunday? Reckon we'll be 3/4 weeks behind Europe

@alan-steward any word on the UK stuff? I guess Sunday will be a big moment, another 3 weeks of lockdown or easing of it

@alan-steward Laters Alan have a good evening. Nothing worth trading tonight , had three meetings in the States yesterday evening but none tonight. only sport left is the Swedish Trotting , I think the name says it all. More sport to look at though over the weekend so things starting to look on the up after tonight.

@richard-latimer The live streams you can't watch , not sure if you have to trade a certain amount or only if you are based in Germany but wouldn't work.
What I found also weird was the odds on the horses barely moved when it went inplay until near the end of the race.

Oh they went in play but like James said it was like pulling teeth lol... Was hoping to test my new Bot file but nothing qualified lol... Even when I watched the odd game to check lowest traded price winner was 1.01 & 2nd place was still over 3... Go figure, catch you later guys

Well the German horse racing market looks like it needs a lot more liquidity... Some got up to around 50k matched but movement of odds looked real slooooooooooow lol, if thats down to liquidity then I think we'd need to be over 100k rather than the minimum 50k @Martin-Futter has mentioned... Anybody else any thoughts from the German meeting?

Didn't even realise it went inplay

@alan-steward Tried just dabbling with mini stakes a bit of scalping but like you say it is like putting pins in your eyes. There appears to be a very slow movement of odds not sure why though ? I have seen other markets ie greyhounds with less liquity that are much more volatile , maybe because greyhounds 90% of the money in the market comes in the last two mins. The Usa markets don't always have 100k matched but the odds seem to move much more frequently. Be interested to know if it is purely the liquidity?

@martin-futter I've added spreadsheet for LTF to signature. Only 3 days of results right now but I'll keep updating and I'll keep it in signature.

Going to try and track some of the ideas for minor tweaks I've been having too but it's all manual and like @Alan-Steward said, very time consuming.

I see on Betfair that German Horse racing starts up again this afternoon. I doubt it is a country that will generate much liquidity but may do as it is on at peak time something to keep an eye on and it looks like the races are going in play

Yesterday it said they weren't going inplay and the one at 13:00 has just suspended so don't think reliable. Also only 20k matched.

That's strange when you look on the Betfair website it has a tick for going inplay. But like you say no money in the markets the 13.30pm only has just over a £1k not worth it
