    I’m a big NFL fan probably more so than football. Hadn’t come across this thread, look forward to NFL discussions when the new season starts whenever that may be.

    Not a sport I’ve traded before, hopefully look at although may just leave it and enjoy the games/ red zone every Sunday etc.

    @martin-futter not sure how i missed this notification, i follow the Denver Broncos but tbh i would watch most games regardless who's playing. I kind of have favourite players so would watch there games.

    Just looking to see a few angles this season after last year i had not a bad trading in NFL.

    What sort of stats or things do you look for in the lay the team that scored first scenario?

    I agree with M here, I've taken a position on the Vikings.

    Vikings would be my favourite to win their division, should be nearer 25 for me.

    @ryan-carruthers yes Cowboys are a sleeper but the price is about right, wish they were nearer 40 as I would be all over that, probably still a value price I would want to see Dak sign his contract first though.

    @Martin-Futter what about Cowboys?

    I was looking at the Cardinals as well but that league they are in is so tough I will stick away from all 4 of those lol Rams pricing is huge!!!

    Titans and Vikings odds look big to me at 42+ tough teams who I would not be surprised if they won their divisions or made the wild card in the playoffs.

    @mike-roberts hopefully you are right! i do think some of his college injuries were a result of Nick Saban trying to keep him on the field even when he needed resting. There were games he could have missed and actually recovered where Alabama were beating up small college teams on their soft schedule.

    that said 5 surgeries before you even play in the pros is quite telling. a broken hip at that young of an age is also a concern, not an injury you hear much about in the NFL and the tackle was not exactly a scary foul play one.

    @martin-futter

    @Martin-Futter I have watched him in 4/5 games and he looked far from brittle, although, I accept this is the mens game and not the boys game.

    He certainly looked assured and has a good arm. I am sure that he will bed in nicely at Miami.

    There is one thing that concerns me. I have noticed that in recent years there are certain coaches that tell players to go after the QB specifically, thier motto is 'get him out of the game'. This behaviour shouold be stamped out asap IMO as it is not part of the true game.

    @mike-roberts wonder if one of your DE will be converted elsewhere, we have 3 top cornerbacks now which again makes me wonder if one becomes a safety at least part-time

    @jarratt-perkins here is my feeling, play Tua towards the end of the season, we HAVE to test his durability, we could have a lot of draft capital next year again to draft a QB if Tua is too brittle

    @martin-futter Although we did not need a player in that position, there comes along a player once in a while that cannot be passed over, so yes Martin I am happy with Young he will be a decent DE. He will be an asset especially if coach Rivera applies the 4 3 zone scheme that was played at the Panthers. I also like it that he is not afraid to put young players into the mix.
