Weekend Previews
South Africa v India - 4pm 24th Feb, Cape Town, T20
South Africa failed to defend 169 here last time a T20 was played in Cape Town
SA failed badly to chase 303 in the 50 over game played here v India getting bowled out for 179
Not much data here scorewise to make many predictions on high or low but you expect 180+ to be the target
Series tied at 1-1 after SA chased 180+ with ease last time out
New Zealand v England - 1am 25th Feb, Hamilton, ODI 50 oversOnly played one 50 over ODI in the least two and a half years
Winning scores in England were always over 300
Strong batting line ups face weak bowling line ups again
NZ chased 263 with ease here in January vs a decent bowling side in Pakistan
Last three chasing teams have won with ease chasing under 300
Potentially a high scoring classic here, chasers will fancy chasing a big total -
21st Feb Previews:
Australia v New Zealand Tri Series T20 Final Eden Park 6am GMT
Betfair odds Australia 1.59/Martin's odds 1.5
Australia have won all 4 of their matches in this competition
New Zealand won only once but it was enough to get through on net run rate
This series has been very high scoring
This ground just saw the world record run chase of 240+ in less than 19 overs
Hard to see anything other than another high scorer here unless a team is bowled out
Australia will fancy chasing anything given what happened here a few days ago
If market hasn't sussed this there could be a good opportunity at the innings break to back the chasers
South Africa v India 2nd T20 Centurion 4pm GMTBetfair odds India 1.63/Martin's odds 1.5
India lead the series 1-0 after defending 203 comfortably
SA will be better off if they can bat first and put up a defendable total but this is a big if
India won't mind batting first or chasing as they will fancy their chances regardless
Not much T20 data here and last match was only a 10 over one so ground a bit of an unknown at this level
In the 50 overs ODIs played here SA scored 204 all out and 118 all out recently
Any decent opportunities to back India will be very tempting here 1.63 doesn't look a bad price
SA need one or two batsmen to fire big here, of course it can happen -

You could still lay Zimbabwe at 2.4 just before those last quick 4 wickets.
Even though there run rate was nowhere near what was needed to catch Afghanistans total.
layed them at half way at similar odds, the stats don't lie

Afghanistan v Zimbabwe - ODI 50 overs
Afghanistan have won the series and lead 3-1
Zimbabwe have been bowled out for 179 or less 4 of the last 5 ODI's between these teams
Afghanistan's only loss in the last 5 was when Zimbabwe scored 333-5 batting first (they scored 179 atll out)
This is the 5th match in a row to be played in Sharjah
Afghanistan may fancy that they could defend a small 200+ total
If Zimbabwe put up a 300+ score they would be confidentAfghanistan now sub 1.1 defending 200+ easy money this!
-
And straight back out to 2.2 nice green there
-
Zimbabwe odds in to 1.67
Afghanistan currently 182/7
"Zimbabwe have been bowled out for 179 or less 4 of the last 5 ODI's between these teams"

T20 International - Hamilton 6am GMT 18th Feb
New Zealand v England
New Zealand won last time out after scoring 196 but only by 12 runs
Not many T20's are played here but looking at the last result a couple of years ago 200 could be a required score to win
Both teams are very strong at batting and weaker at bowling
On that basis another high scorer could be on the cards
England have lost all 3 T20's in this series so far
T20 International - Sylhet 11am GMT 18th FebBangladesh v Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka lead this series 1-0 as they chased 193 with absolute ease
These teams seem to score big or get bowled out cheap
First T20i in 4 years and amazingly Bangladesh or Sri Lanka have not played a T20i here
Watching the early exchanges key with pitch and ground here -
16th February
New Zealand v Australia T20 Tri Series 6am GMT - Auckland
-
Australia are unbeaten in this tri-series so far and won their first match against NZ
-
Australia have already qualified for the final
-
NZ need to win
-
Aukland is a fairly high scoring ground esp first innings
-
Chasing seems to be a definite disadvantage here so scores of 160+ could be good first innings
South Africa v India 6th ODI (50 overs) 11am GMT - Centurion
-
India have an insurmountable 4-1 lead here
-
India tend to score close to 300 consistently when batting first
-
India won the first match here at Centurion bowling SA out for a very low 118 and chasing that total very quickly losing only 1 wicket
-
SA have been bowled out 3 times in the 4 games without any rain for scores of 201 or below
-
Despite the last match here this is a very high scoring ground in recent ODI history. SA have scored 295-4 in 36 overs, 319-3 in 46 overs when chasing big totals and scored 384 when batting first.
-
SA have won their last 6 here before that loss to India

Sri Lanka v Bangladesh at Dhaka T20 International Preview:
Trading Notes -
Their 50 over matches on this tour were 2-1 to Sri Lanka who also won the test series
The only match Sri Lanka lost was when Bangla batted first and scored an imposing 320 in 50 overs.
Sri Lanka defended a lowly 221 with relative ease in the ODI final on Jan 25th also in Dhaka.
The test match played here last week was turning like crazy, in the four innings the highest score was 226.
If this pitch is similar then anything over 140 could be a winning score, especially if Sri Lanka are defending it.
160 plus would be an imposing score - close to 200 could be near impossible to chase.
