Like the others I thought ry was bit high odds to start so a small 2 pound back I'll wait to towards end of first set to get out ready for the second

I've watched quite a bit over the last few years, but mainly the mens tournament towards the summers. I've always found the women's up and down players can have a great few tournaments and not win for rest of the year sort of thing.

Same here Simon I watch a lot of tennis and the girls are definitely more prone to going missing.

Well I think, with the form she's in, Rybakina is quite highly priced at almost 3 for this match. Pliskova is a top player but Rybakina has shot up from 192 world ranking to 19 in just a year. A real star of the future in my opinion (Bear in mind that's the opinion of someone who's only been watching tennis for a couple of months)

I was thinking the same and to be fair I don’t really rate Mladenovich so wasn’t surprised Pliskova wiped the floor with her. Will be an interesting match to monitor.

true, better to stay to something whats working. Only way i would try it is to try and achieve a free trade with the greens

are you doing slightly bigger stakes with the on serve strat as your going to be cashing out after every service game? or still going to do the same stakes as you normally would?, ive done this before but only for the high aces in the mens.

To be honest. It's just something I've been thinking about and the more I think, the less likely I am to try it.
Been having good results just watching a game and backing/laying as I see the game progress. If it ain't broke, why fix it eh?

@rob-arkell one of the biggest and most lucrative forms of trading women’s tennis is to do the complete opposite and LAY the server. The girls get broken at a much higher rate than what the men do. The men hold serve approximately 80% of the time the girls more around the 55-60% mark @Ryan-Carruthers will be able to possibly tell you a more accurate figure.

I'd agree but this match they are both reliant on serve and very strong in that department. Especially Pliskova, she's second only to Serena at winning her service game

I guess it’s horses for courses and as a match up I’d agree maybe look to get out at 30-0 or 40-15 if in a green spot? Pliskova is a great server.

Seeing some really good value in backing Felix AA at 2.10 later today in his match against Piere Hughes Hebert who is starting as a 1.88 favourite on the back of beating AA 7-5 7-6 just a couple of weeks ago. Whilst writing this AA has come into 2.08 but still value if he starts as the dog.

Looking at some stats on https://www.wtatennis.com/stats

Pliskova after 7 matches this season has won 86.4 percent of her service games, Rybakina after 18 matches has won 77.6 percent of her service games.
Both players are well down the rankings breaking serve at only about 30 percent

Pair of big servers in Rybakina v Pliskova. That's my one to keep an eye on

Thinking of trying a new strategy for this one of backing the server at the start of each game. Very small gains and bigger losses if a player breaks serve (I think, not tried this strat before) But if it stays on serve and goes to tie break then it'll be profitable.
I'm definitely gonna wait until both players have served once
