    If a selection steams in during the last couple of minutes before post time by more than 1 whole point, then it would be advisable to get out and take a small red before they go in running.

    Please Note: Anything over 7/1 (8.0) should be layed at half stake, max lay price 10/1 (11.0)

    Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

    I cannot find anything that I would lay today. However, here are some that may be worth backing for a small win and place in multiples.. Or perhaps they could even be back to lay bets.

    @alex-lyons
    Hi Alex.

    A point for example is 5.0..... then 3 or 4 minutes from the off this prce may contract to 4.0 or lower within this 3 to 4 minute period. If this occurs then it is suggested you trade out for a small Red.

    @louis-lamprell

    Hi Louis. Welcome. There is no such thing as a stupid question, if you don't know then you don't know, so just ask.

    In reply. I lay them not to win only and at the shortest price I am able to obtain, I do use software so lower prices are easily obtained. Remember, if a selection is backed within the last 3 or 4 minutes before the off and it's price comes down by a point or more, then get out and take a small red.

    Also watch the horses and Jockeys in running. Is the selection being ridden hard two furlongs out or is the Jockey still standing up in his irons with his hands on the horses withers and not moving a muscle (this means trade out) whilst the other runners are being ridden.

    Good luck and enjoy your time here.
