Back Testing?

Hi.
I am a new trader currently testing around 14 filters against all main league world matches.

Basically I run the filter from BTC everyday, export & the check each match manually and collate whether if I had traded would it have been a win or lose.

I am wondering about whether its possible to automate the test - I know I can get a lot of free data on matches & HT scores, FT scores etc. from various sources, but getting it & back-testing specific filters I have built looks like a challenge.

Has anyone successfully done this?

@nhouse when I export it uses the filter name if you hit 'export all'

Had a thought - how easy/hard is it to add the filter name to the export from BTC? Currently I selevt the filter, export the days picks then copy & paste that into a master spreadsheet & add the filter name - which is then used to analyse wins/losses etc.

Adding the filter name would speed up the whole thing.

Im useful with spreadsheets but not the programming that goes into the BTC stats software.
