If a selection steams in during the last couple of minutes before post time by more than 1 whole point, then it would be advisable to get out and take a small red before they go in running.

Please Note: Anything over 7/1 (8.0) should be layed at half stake, max lay price 10/1 (11.0)

    Nothing for me today.

A simple observation. When there are a few runners in a bunch with 2 or 3 furlongs to go, note what the Jockeys are doing. Is the Jock on our selection rowing away? or is he still standing up in his irons whilst other Jocks around are rowing away?

It may seem a simple thing to do, but with the odds changing so quickly it is easy to forget.

    Stay green

This is what I look for when doing a quick L2B - but I have to be at home on pc and have live feeds up so very rare

Nothing to lay or back today. A nice relaxing day off.

With some of the selections that have finished 1st I have traded out. (hence the header tag of this thread) If they look to be going too well in a race then just trade out. By doing this you are going to increase your bank. You will also make mistakes when trading out at times. For example a selection may be going well and you decide to trade out only for it to finish down the field. Do not concern yourself when ,making a mistake as you are protecting your bank.

For example: Yesterdays winner "Arabescato" looked to be going really well just behind the front 3 runners 3 flings out, so I traded out for a very small Red.

It is also good practice to watch the in play betting market as this will nearly always give a big clue as to which horses will be fighting out the finish. For those that have software tracking the markets is even easier.

I begun with the same bank at the same time as this thread started, and by trading out of some races my own bank now stands at a healthy 230 points.

    Stay green folks.

@michael-roberts 36% bank increase well done!

Especially when concentrating on just one meeting a day! I would love to try to help automate the rest but also understand you want to keep your edge!

If you ever want to share thought and opinions on what to look out for I am always ears 🙂
