@ryan-carruthers Just signed up myself and looking to do similar with my 1.5 trades and also your split and Martins LTD. Not had time to look at setting up yet as been working on a Horse Strat. Will let everyone know how I get on.

I have both your split strat plus Martin's HT LTD bots set up working fine. Don't use them much atm as I'd prefer to monitor live for inplay stats but This year I think i'll prob add IPT stats which I susbcribe to separately and decide on a certain amount of shots on target etc before betting on any match. I have a feeling the latest BFBM update has it's own inplay stats without any extra subscription but not looked into it much yet tbh.

The FHG has hit a bad patch atm but it should pick up again...i hope lol

I use my own database as you know @Ryan-Carruthers but can hep. First thing will be to match up the team names to the betfair team names!

@dan-pearce apologies, I've been away for a week. My licence for BFBM has expired and I can't recall how to set a stop loss, it's in there somewhere though. Sorry I can't help any further as I cannot start the program & I'm not sure I'll be renewing.

Anyone know how exact the names have to be to automate the football selections. (I really hope I dont have to create a key for eveyone of the teams I have for the betfair name

I've been a user of BFBotManager for about 5 years. I have tested 100's of systems that I have found on the internet. And a few that I have dreamt up myself. All have marked been marked FAIL.
I have just completed reading all 861 posts in this section.

@neil-mallett afternoon Neil, could you point me in the right direction about applying a stop loss? Are you able to do a trailing loss so say I put a stop on for £10 if I won £5 the £10 loss would then be £5

If you are automating the dogs, use tiny stakes, don't try to recover in one hit & only recover with low odds dogs. Dogs seem so random, multiple wins in a row from one trap is not uncommon at all. You also, definitely need a stop loss. It can work well for days then 8 wins from trap 1 followed by 5 wins from trap 4 and all the wins disappear. Some of us have been at this for weeks and are still tweaking. Don't use money you need on this, it's very hard. Fun though.

Greyhound system hit a snag yesterday using 10p stakes and a very small balance to learn. Had four losses in a row an not enough balance to place the fifth. Not exactly trading but it had been working well. I need to get trading automatically rather than betting outright.
Any ideas where I should be looking.
I used to trade horses but I don’t have great knowledge so was dipping in an out trying to make a few pence before the start of the race.
I think I should start there and see if I can make a profitable bot.
The football stats have only been giving me either one or no games to trade and my bot still seems to be hedging as soon as a goal is scored or in some situations just after a bet has gone in.

hmmm, usually if the goal is fairly late then the price will prob be a bit higher than when you placed the initial bet. doesn't seem like that should be the case here tho. There are a few options to set what conditions you require for hedging... ie only at set scores at certain minutes etc. Can help you with anything specific if you like.
Or if you send me the bots I can take a look and see if theres any obvious errors in there.Off out now, but I can send you a few of my functioning bots for you to play around with and adapt tomorrow if you like. Have some LTD, o 1.5, o 2.5, with and without hedging, etc etc
