@paul-keighley Really appreciate the help. I’ll have look myself too and see if I can figure things out. Had a bet (only 10p stake) on a game this afternoon for over 2.5, went a goal up after 14mins and it hedged for loss of 3p.

I know the system will be able to do something. I’ll let you know if I find anything

    Cheers

@dan-pearce hmm, now you've made me think Dan!
I've always just used that condition, with no problems and just assumed it applied to the hedging as well as the initial bet placement! Just had a quick look at the common hedge condition and it appears there is an option for a status delay there also.

    0_1575138144358_statuschange2.jpg

Let me have a little play around tomorrow and I'll check whether it waits 60 seconds to hedge as well as place initial bet, and get back to you!

@paul-keighley Many thanks Paul, how does this work with hedging? I think i have probably done something wrong or am not understanding the way the system works.

I have set up to place a bet on over 2.5 say at 10mins, would doing it this way just mean i would not be able to place the bet on 10mins if the bet had been suspended in any way?

What i am looking at is hedging after a goal has gone in but after 60s after suspended.

On betangel there was a function to green up once a target was hit and 60s after suspension.

Do i have to set this "hedge up" as a separate bot stating that it will not place until 60s after suspension?

well the football worked, on three matches i made a total of 5p using 10p liability stakes.

The only issue i found was as soon as a goal went in it hedged, i couldnt seem to find a "wait 60s after suspended time" rule.

Currently I am backing over 2.5 at three stages if 0-0 and hedging if it goes to 1-0 or 0-1 and completely hedging on 50mins if still 0-0.

Any ideas how i can hedge at the same stages but after 60s has elapsed after a goal?

    Thanks

    Dan

    Morning guys,

I have set up an over 2.5 goals strategy to go into the market at three stages in the first half. Currently I have 3 bots one for each time in.

Is there a way of having one bot to stake at three points during the game rather than having three as i couldn't see what i needed to do.

Also is there a way of running two copies of BFBM so i can test some strategies whilst letting others go live?

    Thanks

    Dan

@Dan-Pearce I run two copies of BFBM on the same laptop, one for footy, one for Horses. Just need to download sandboxie (free program) then open it and drag the icon to launch BFBM into that and it will launch a second instance of BFBM. 🙂

    @dave-jessop Cheers Dave.

Dont really know what is up today. After the hiccup earlier it just wont place bets at all.

need to have a bit of a play with it this morning to try and figure out the issues

    @john-folan Many thanks.

Yeah much more user friendly than BA.

Just trying to get my head around everything and testing to get it working.

Yes 10p stakes do work as I did a day with 10p on the greyhounds yesterday and managed a £6.50 profit.

Things are a bit weird this morning as BF took ages to pay out on one race around 30 mins and after it paid it stopped all my other bets. Just reset it and shows open trades for a few races which have already finished, however these arent open on my account so hopefully it will rectify itself shortly.

The system works so much better in the fact that you can have multiple running on each event and it doesn't conflict. my trial runs out tomorrow so im going to give it a month trial just to make sure then go in for the year.

    Thanks for the recommendation

    Dan

@john-folan Thanks John, thats a shame re two pcs, i have a greyhound bot running that i have developed mostly from reading this thread and I went live with it yesterday.

Already made a few quid, but wanted to try and develop a few football ones. I have a strategy that i used before but with using the new system i wanted to check and see if it worked. Ultimately i could run it with really really small stakes to make sure it worked correctly before upping to something a bit better.

    Thanks

    Dan

tbh I'd do that as simulation mode can give you a false odds reading anyway. @Dave-Jessop can you get away with 10p stakes on BFbotmanager like i used to on Bet Angel when testing?

What do you think of bfbotmanager anyway Dan? I just find it miles easier than Bet Angel, especially for football.

You would need to run it on two pc's. But yes you can. I'll have a look at the other thing for you. Pretty sure it can drip back/lay.

@john-folan Just the traps, over 0.5 HT and Back fav Place at the moment - they seem to be the safest

I am wondering if these need a profit limit set daily on them.
I have been thinking a lot around profit ect and I have come to the decision that I am only going to target 1% profit each day ... that being said if I don't make it there won't go chasing but with these bot methods I think you need to be aiming for something and stopping to prevent wiping out a days profit so quickly.

@john-folan Sorry mate - never got a notification

Most of them are still plodding away for minimum stakes and making 1-2p per race/match - never going to get rich
Not been doing a lot recently as I've been looking at other stuff and having a few RL problems 🙂

Which ones are you running? Sorry about the RL stuff. I know how that goes.
