N England @ Miami (+21.5) Dolphins
Philly (-2) @ Atlanta EaglesModified the spread on the Pats game to be greater than 3TD and still got 1.57!

Panthers looked decent at home last week in just going down to the Rams and Tampa were horrible in their first game. If you can get on with Carolina at less than a TD then I think that is a solid pick. I expect there to be points in this game and think the O/U line is a bit low at 49.5.

Over 49.5 pts 1pt LOST -1Well that didn't work out at all! Even had Carolina scored that last TD still would have gone down on both bets. So now back down to +0.4. Back on Sunday!

Just looked it up and the largest spread in at least recent history was when Denver (5-0) at the time played Jackonsville (0-5) back in 2013 when the line was 26.5. Denver won but came nowhere near covering.
Anything above 3 TDs and I will be tempted to get on. That's a huge number and history is against the cover.

. I've just done some more digging and found that the spread has never been covered by a road fav -16, it's 0/5 all time. It's only been covered 3 times in the last 36 when it's been -14. I'm tempted by it

Its at +17 right now which is pretty crazy for an NFL game, especially in Week 2. Based on how they both played yesterday though that seems about right to me and I have no clue why Belichick wants to deal with the AB s@%tshow.
It’s 18.5 now. Seems like an overreaction to me... but I’ve been proved wrong before

I am dabbling in the exchange market. Laid the Saints at 1.37 hoping for a decent start by the road dog and a quick cashout.

.Yeah it was a great finish. Was very glad I didn't have anything in the market at that point. I do like laying the fav in games like that where there is a decent chance that there will be a fair amount of back and forth early on in the game.

@charles-cartwright yeh getting involved in the AB storm is an interesting one. But is an exciting move for the pats if they can get him in the same form as last few Seasons.

I like the Pats too. Combined that with Rams giving 1.5 at Carolina which is looking solid right now. Will post my picks and results as we go through the season.
Rams 30 (-1.5) - Carolina 27 WIN
Steelers 3 - Pats 33 (-5.5) WIN.Nice little double to start the season + 2.4 pts.
Don't fancy anything for the first week of MNF.
