What you really mean is 'for gods sake, more work'
It's like when @Ryan-Carruthers says "Adam....would it be possible to do [massive new site feature]" and I think it over for a sec and then go "sigh Yes, unfortunately it is possible".

Awesome, thanks @John-Folan !

Be good to have OR(These are more relevant than I realised) and Speed Ratings as well as Pace which has already been mentioned
DSLR.
Going Filters.
Day of the week filter(weird but relevant)
Hcap/Non Hcap
Course filters(I think these are underused)
Under filters can we have a between filter as well as a more than and less than.
Win percentages and races run.
Dob percentages.
Ability to filter form record so look at last five/ten/etcA lot of these will be in the irtt guide I uploaded before.
Back testing would be the big thing. No one back tests inrunning stats. I'm guessing that is because it might be too expensive or slow a server down to nothing. This would literally be a gamechanger and put you out in front of proform. He can backtest straight betting but his inrunning is terrible.
If I think of anything else I will add it but Adam has probably made a not of most of this anyway.
-
@john-folan good ideas there @Ryan-Carruthers are you getting these to @Adam or do you want me to add it as a task?
-
Averages are a good idea too.
Average %drop inrunning
Average number of ticks dropped inrunning
Average starting price
Average pace score
Average speed ratingAll with the ability to filter the number of races to apply it to. 5, 10, 15 or career etc.
Averages are underused in trading.
-
I'm pretty sure most items covered by other members but important that in low grade handicaps class5 and 6 that Horses back down to previous winning Mark are highlighted. We cant have too much information.
-
The biggest thing would be backtesting inrunning stats. Even if you can only do a few percentages like 25% 50%(dob) and 66.67%(trobs). No where offers that. Proforms inrunning tool doesn’t integrate with the rest of his system properly so you can’t back test.
-
Hi,
As mentioned previously the IRTT stats are a decent start. So you can test dob/trob and low inrunning lays.
Place data along the same lines could be massive. No one does that with prices.
The ability to filter by going, so you could exclude runs on heavy ground or the aw from a horses stats etc.

This is the user guide for the In Running Trading Tool. This sort of info would be great. Apparently he is adding historical data soon so I will update you when he does. It's simple to use and a lot cheaper than proform who's inrunning tool is a pain in the arse.
when you say historical data what do you mean as it's already there for each horse .
also for people in charge on here be careful not to copy because THE BETTING GUY done just that and ian wasn't happy at all
He’s never happy lol. I meant we need inrunning data like this. Not steal his.
He is going to have back testing apparently. That’s what I meant by historical data.
thanks john , a back testing application would be great and i would love to see something along those lines on here

it would be good to pull the naps table data ourselves and be able to filter from it would certainly save me time!
Ryan’s got a little Filipino slave ladyboy for that

The ability to back test dob/trob strategies. Proform does not have this without a fair bit of fiddling so this would be a big advantage.
Pace ratings. Speed Ratings and maybe something like a BTC ‘power’ rating based on those plus other factors.
Back testing on different criteria/strategies
all good those to me , well done john
