Market seems heavily weighted in favour of England. Would have expected Australia to be much shorter at 50-0. Greening up with a small profit at 2.10.

Score predictor says 337. Think they'd bite everyone's hands off for that! Reckon anything over 250 will put big pressure on a Roy-less England.

@charles-cartwright they have a great record chasing in the past 4 years yeah, especially in England. But the trend of this WC has definitely been favouring getting a score on the board and defending it.

Up at silly o'clock to watch this. I dont trade cricket so I will defer to the experts on here but despite the debacle the other day don't England much prefer to chase?

@richard-futter @Simon suspect market expects few dot balls early nothing crazy .., think this a trend before a ball bowled ? could be wrong . As a batter i'm taking a look early rather than risk

@richard-futter the market thinks it’s the right decision, into 1.72. I’m not so sure.

It's a gamble. Will take an early look before trading.

England win the toss and bowl. We'll see how that works out. A couple of early breakthroughs will be vital.

The thinking seems to be if England win the toss they'll bowl first because of the greenness of the wicket and the overhead conditions. Still think it would be a mistake. We've heard it before and so far that thinking has proved to be wrong. You're gambling on bowling out the opposition cheaply, but if you don't do that, the pressure of runs on the board has proved decisive.
