@simon we seem to play better in the big games, take our eye off the ball in the ones we are expected to win easily.

@martin-futter makes the next 3 games for England very interesting. Australia on Tuesday will be tasty!

Just goes to show England (or any team) should never be 1.11 in an ODI against a well established team like Sri Lanka, it is just too short a price in a one off game with only 2 runners. Also, wasn't that long ago we lost to Scotland!

I read something earlier about malinga going home for a family funeral and that Sri Lanka might dig in a bit harder today. Not wrong. Plane sailing this is not for England. Maybe a decent wake up call of the Pakistan one didn't do the trick.

Have India outright and pretty happy with that.

Let's see how deep they bat under pressure

Gonna be very tough with Malinga having two overs left. If Moeen had played as sensibly as Stokes it would have been a cakewalk.

Mooen has absolutely no value anymore in any form of the game. Pick a batsman or a bowler. Loyalty and togetherness costing England here.

I didn't pull the trigger at 1.09. Think you're right. Squeaky bum, but they'll get it done.

If England play safely against Malinga they win this game. Have backed them at 1.29.

    @richard-futter didn't get his usual 26. Can't believe England are still 1.09

was out prior couldn't post … had a lay @1.05 liability out @1.10 .., free roll rest innings or to desire … does anyone else trade this way its something I try to achieve on lower end of markets . of course not a bullet proof style , aim my entry to be 50-60% below SP

@richard-futter assume you won't be lumping at that price though?

Absolutely not! Will leave that to others.

Laying James Vince to be top batsman is something I'm interested in today. The amount of times he gets in, looks classy and in control, then gives his wicket away, in any form of the game is becoming comical. 5.8 is a bit big for me but if he gets to 20* I will take another look at the price.

He regularly get to 20 or 30+ before somehow managing to get out. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Hard to argue with England's odds of 1.11 against Sri Lanka today. I'm not sure this SL team would even beat the home side one out of ten times to be quite honest.

Likely to be just a bit of market scalping for me today, but if I see any chances of a swing trade I will certainly post them.

    Good luck to all.

@dave-jessop almost impossible is not impossible. 1.01 gets turned over on the horses more often than the implied odds suggests. Each to their own.

Don't forget Pakistan were bowled out for 105 in their first match. Think I'd need the brown underpants when they were 83 for 9 😄
