I will start off by saying, if you can afford too, taking advantage of TSBs 5% interest on accounts up to £1500 and whilst at it, look at Nationwides 3% on balances up to £2500, two easy ways of making a little bit extra each month. If you are smart you can use the market in this way to earn some additional spend each month.
