For tomorrow:
Required Prices (approx 5 mins before kickoff):
NET 5.1-6.0
POL 3.15-11.0
MEX 4.0-11.02/2 with both Netherlands games falling out of range.
+£19.60
Running total £101.70
Richard, just to clarify, so that I don't transgress the 'rules' - if your trades aren't matched at KO you cancel them and don't let them be matched in the first few minutes of play? Lucky escape with the Maastricht game
I must confess, I can be a bit of a Monica and if you watched Friends back in the day you will understand that reference haha!
I am waaaaay better than I used to be. Made my sister cry once playing a board game!
For me, I never let it go inplay anymore. Sometimes I mess up and forget but generally I'm in minutes before kickoff.
Yeah, I used to think leagues would make minimal difference. Then I started thinking it was all about the leagues if the stats were on point. Now I'm on the path to thinking 'most' leagues can be used.....just with different odds ranges.

Friday's Back O 1.5 Goals:
Adelaide Utd v Macarthur FC. 1.2
Magdeburg v Hamburger SV. 1.22
Eindhoven FC v Excelsior. 1.26
Maastricht v Jong AZ. 1.20
Nice v Auxerre. 1.28Result 4/5 wins = -0.06 pts
Running total: +£85.10When I saw Adelaide the price was really high. Did it come down that far before they scored? That looked a crazy game!
I put the trade on when the opening back price was 1.16, hoping that it would get matched at 1.2. I reckon I was about 30 seconds away from being matched when the goal went in.
Gutted. Surely that's 3/4 then. Not to be pedantic
Golly, the second time you've "had a word" with me Richard! You're obviously taking this very seriously.
Didn't you say the other day that we weren't playing with real money? I nominated 5 from my filter and if it had lost I would have chalked it up as a loss. However, as you have now taken on the policing responsibility for this challenge, perhaps you would like to make a ruling. I'd be more than happy to take off the tiny "profit' involved in taking a trade at 1.2 (with 5% commission).
In fact just for you Richard, I'll remove the £1.90 illusionary profit and call it 3/4 if you feel better about it. Bizarrely I messed up the maths anyway as including the Australian 'win' would have given me +0.13 pts but removing that result leaves me with -0.06 points so the monetary result is still the same but the strike rate is lower.
Nah mate, just joshing
My own finances are way more important than this competition.
