Asian markets
-
Morning all, as I've said I've been going through the different types of trades on Betfair and finding out how they work.
I'm now up to the Asian markets section which is full of + and - unders and overs, can someone explain the Asian markets to me, or point me in the right direction to find out more, has there been a BTC video on this and does anyone trade or has traded using these markets? -
@Simon-Bates yes you can trade out manually there, the odds are quite close together
-
@Martin I experimented with this game last night to show you the liquidity in the game, it shows £2352 and £7128 (at HT), I've seen less liquidity in other games and it's offered cashout, I just don't think cashout is an option for this trade.
Trading out a different way could be an option, here are the screenshots, I think you're best to tell me if this is an option that could be of any good. -
@Simon-Bates that's really good info to know, I'm guessing you could trade out manually though? Or were the odds not liquid enough?
-
@Martin so I tried the Asian market, thought I'd lost my trade when the red card happened in the 7th minute!!
Won't be trading this market again cos there was no cashout option throughout the whole game, but luckily I got the 3 goals I needed.

@Simon-Bates no I haven't done a video on this but it is a great idea!
So + is that the team will get goals added as a handicap so +1 means the team gets a one goal headstart.
One trick to work it out is to click a selection and then type in a bet say £1, if you do that Betfair tell you the outcome for all possibilities.
