John’s Horse Trading Resources

Added a link to a Cheltenhambetting offers page for horse terminology. Should help people who are new to horse trading but are using the new software.
-
@john-folan great share that
-
Added explanations for Dobs/Trobs and Hdobs(New to me!) in the first post on this thread. People might find it useful.
-
@liam-willis 100% Adam will be making some and of course we shall delve in ourselves and when we get something share it with you guys!
@John-Folan will find something I'm sure
-
@liam-willis I added the btc horse trading guides in the first post on this thread. Should get you started

I have some mindblowing stuff to share regarding staking, stoplosses etc as well. But I want to test that a bit more before opening my big mouth
YAY!
-
I'll probably delete the links to other stats sites once we have the HRS. We won't need them as anything I quote will be off of there after looking at Adam's screen shots he kindly shared.

Here is a complete list of rules for the Trobs. Most of this should be able to be filtered by our lovely new software when we get it
ALL of this is possible to filter in the software
-
@james-menhenitt yes that one. It’s in the first post
-
@john-folan hi! Just to clarify as I have a first look at the thread, are you referring to the ltb strategy you shared a few days ago?
Thanks!
-

@john-folan I think this will be my way of trading when I come back to the horses.
I used to have a real strong selection system to pick in play b2l that crushed it - see if I can revive it with the new software.
I’ll tag @Adam here too.
Yes that’s what I always found with automation for horses, because the markets go mental you’d get red and then it would be a huge green if you’d stayed in.
So frustrating that. It works if you have no stop loss. But you would need to backtest a robust selection process. If only there was some software coming out where you can do that
