Hi everyone. I was wondering how much does everyone value ROI when testing a new strategy? Is there a minimum % it needs to meet or is it just straight up how much money has it made? Thanks
The more I study it the more real profit is king. If you have 1.5% ROI but many selections you are golden, if you don't get many per week then it's less valuable.

@Arran-Shackell Adams finds the highlights for us from the software think that part is automated to the extent that it can be
-
@Liam-Mcnee I always aim (hope) for minimum 3% ROI

@Martin what was the difference between lay away 1.0 and 2.0? i think im still using 2.0 but not sure, its the 2.0 version in the pro filters under lay away example? Im testing 3.0 as well which had a great weekend while 2.0 was tricky
1.0 is the one in the members filters.
2.0 has odds range and league filters,
3.0 has updated odds range and league filters.do you have a copy of the 2.0 filter so i can back test it and compare it to 3.0?
Thanks Martin

@andrew-page could get higher up the league though which surely should be some incentive in playoffs
Totally understand what your saying but in back of mind and i think it will play a big part will he want to risk injuries for play offs

@Martin How long have you been forward testing v3.0 out of interest?
a week but 4 of those days I was in Italy, so have two results

@Ryan I came here without an ounce of trading knowledge, I've knuckled down watched videos over and over again, read everything on here from other members and learnt what it all meant, took some grief off the missus too for watching (her words) "boring" YouTube vids about it all, told her if she carries on moaning she'll only get to smell the leather seats in my Porsche not sit on them when I make it big
It can be done, being profitable from it, albeit small at the start, but it takes time, hard work and dedication to get there, but once you are there though, the hardest part is done cos you understand more and can then apply that knowledge to other trading avenues.
I'm glad I'm where I am now and hopefully I'll gather more and more experience as i continue and eventually do what we're all here for, to make bigger profits. -
@Simon-Bates nice one you are going about it the right way still recording the old data
