I've been experimenting with the BTC software for a bit now, tried a strategy to see how it would work, bit of trial and error, it was an under 1.5 FHG, after 48 £1 trades I'm 6p in profit, I was getting a run of winning trades, then 1 bad trade would wipe out my enitre profit, so I've put that to one side for now.
So I'm embarking on a new strategy, again another trial and error experiment, and would like help in choosing which categories I should choose, I want to dutch the correct scores of 0-0 1-0 0-1 1-1 2-1 1-2, I've chosen these categories in the filter and set it to equal or greater than 75%, just with this small selection my results have given me 7 games over the next few days, I'm trying to work out which filters to use for low scoring teams, which filters would you use for low scoring teams that I haven't already chosen.
If anyone has ever tried this kind of strategy I would appreciate your input into how it worked for you.
I'm only 2 months into BTC now so sorry if my questions seem noobish but the longer I play around with the software the more and more I can see its potential in helping me to pick the games to choose from.

@Mark-Maguire thanks for your informed response, the thing that's stuck in my head since I started all this was the advice on sticking to one strategy and learn the rules of that one before moving onto another, another thing I've learnt is recording absolutely everything, goals, times, ht/ft scores etc, like what you've mentioned in your reply, having all the info to read and looking over it to find patterns then trying to make my own strategy out of my findings, I have numerous spreadsheets of info I've collected from the preset filters, I need to keep on doing this for a bit longer to gather as much as I can then hopefully use it to my advantage .

@Simon-Bates the only thing I would add to the already very good advice you are getting here.. going back to your 1.5 FHG.. and this would apply to any filter really .. if it was making money .. even 6p .. did you record goal times and//or look at commonalities between between losing and winning trades .. like relative odds of Home and Away teams, or ratings or odds of the FHG markets etc etc.
It may be the it was the right thing to abandon it but one of the big things for me is to come up with what you want to trade and most importantly why.. I.e what's your idea, your rationale .. if for example you think you know what makes a goal happen early in the game .. then filter it, then test it and review and review again ..
The process will lead to a hundred more questions but the answering of those as they arise is in my humble opinion what really helps develop you.
Just my thoughts and wishing you the best on your journey

Thanks for replying @Tony-Hastie and the new video link, wow, there's a video for everything in here it pretty much explains everything in my question, thank you.
How long have you been dutching for using your strategy and do you real stake or are you still paper staking your filter results.
-
@Tony-Hastie same here with the paper trading, I did it for a bit on the daily email results, recorded all the scores and times, seen that the results were in my favour then just went for it, £2 trades, the 'Lay the away team' November I ended in profit of £45, December till now I'm at £13 profit, Martins 'Lay over 3.5' the majotiy of selected teams were finishing with cricket scores so I looked through all the scores I had recorded for this strategy and realised 70% of the results ended as BTTS so instead of laying over 3.5 goals with the selections I back BTTS instead.
I'm looking for high reward low liability strategies now, that's why I've delved into the CS market and giving that a go.

@Simon-Bates Ive not been here long myself(just over 6 months) and tried out the CS market with various strategies and scorelines but couldnt really get any to perform with the consistency I was looking for. Like you I struggled with the filter for game selection(looking for too many games to trade?) and basically pulled the plug about a month ago! Ready to give it another go now Ryan has shown what the filter can actually achieve!
I dont paper trade, I dont see the point. Happy to go in with low stakes which gives me a record on betfair that I can copy and paste onto a spreadsheet if I want. I might just be lazy there

@Simon-Bates Ive been interested in CS market for some time but couldnt seem to make it work. But @Ryan just released a video on it. It doesnt cover all your scores but well worth a watch...and the filter is easy to duplicate...and adjust to your needs. And it was 3 from 3 games for me last night!
