@John-Folan rules_export (4).txt
Still early days and I am testing, but it start up has been OK!
Remember no 7 furlongs though! Could not get it to work when I tried to remove.
If anyone can see anyway to tighten up or change a few things let me know! Obviovusly ROI would improve if 7F removed entirely!

how do I attach...remember Old Fart New Technology!!!Hit the blank sheet of paper with corner folded over. That should do it. Then just navigate to where you exported the strategy file to. IMG_4980.png

Can people add other strategies they are forward testing here? Even if you have put them on the forum before. Make my life easier. Thank you.

@Paul-Donnelly
You will really struggle with that to execute according to the rules. It uses 2 different ranking criteria. These dont work well automated because the software updates too infrequently and non runners mess it up. With 2 different rankings this one will be a nightmare to execute and track. -
I have added the ZPL 3-10 odds range to the OP

@Paul-Donnelly Of course it is bound to bomb now...
First law of trading.
When you think something is going well, when you start live staking or up stakes. When you share something on a forum your strategy will go to s**t for a while

Day 1 tracking @John-Folan 's ZPL with BFBM vs BTC backtesting. So far everything going to plan. 3 trades, 3 wins and they all match up perfectly. I'll keep doing this up until I go on holiday in September.
If anyone gets anything different let me know. I'm using the downloads from the OP with no modifications.

Just a little something I have been working on.
Looks promising from the back testing Greg, especially with % rather than flat stakes. Have started to forward test this today with a bank of £100 and 1% stakes. Thanks for sharing.
-
@John-Folan Nice one. I'll track the ZPL but if anyone wants to do the others feel free to do so
-
@Dan-MacKinnon yep works lovely

If these are being forward tested, is there going to be a spreadsheet or something to monitor results vs backtesting?
I can set up a Google document which everyone can edit with their results if that'll work?
Thanks mate that would be blinding. I can stick it in the OP then
Does this link work? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JPOzDSmuEwIgExq6MrRuoUmvbq71vXBGsY1qn0s7Quk/edit?usp=sharing
I've just put the ZPL for now and moved over the upcoming trades from BTC software today. I'll update it later on and will try and do this regularly. Hopefully, the graph on the side will show the progression.
If anyone is experienced with Google Docs then feel free to make changes. This should be editable by everyone (So just be careful not to delete anything!)

I’ll add this to the OP tomorrow. Thank you. When did the testing start?
-
@Paul-Donnelly this is the latest version. I’m only going to post here from now on with new or amended strategies. There’s stuff all over the place. Getting confusing.
-
@John-Folan that's where I downloaded it from 5 days ago. So I guess the mention of the update version was done after you'd already posted the updated version in the original thread? i.e. I am already using the updated version?
-
@Paul-Donnelly It’s in the Original post on this thread mate
