Help with Back2Lay Strat

Hey guys,
I came up with a Back2Lay strat that hedges out at 30 seconds after going in-play.
While it works fine most of the time, it sometimes can't hedge out leaving me with a full loss. I know liquidity is thinner in-play, but I've maxed out the safety setting on BFBM and ask for 10 ticks above the current price when getting out.
Is there anything else I can do to ensure these bets get matched? Or is it an issue with the way the horse racing software backtests the strategy and the fact that the strategy isn't actually profitable in the real world?
For context, the backtest says I should be up $114 this month but it's actually down $60.

@Myles-O-Bery software tracks the prices in Betfair historical data but one of the problems people can have inplay is that the price gets matched by someone else. We are adding an amount matched to help with that.
