@David-Milligan these aren't to do with John these ones, I've made them based on another members filter and this was the criteria he used
-
@Alexander-Vincent you can delete them should be fine
-
@Martin yea understood but is there any particular reason these horses would DOB? I see John's original selections had 70% DOB in their previous races, just don't see any particular reason that horses of a certain age would half in price.
That said I've started running it on small stakes with an altered version of @John-Folan 's TROB Bot

@Martin Ive just had these 3 back to lay files turn up in my strategies. Not complaining because Im gonna take a look at them anyway(already had one uploaded) but arent these supposed to be going to presets instead?
Has this happened to anyone else?
yes this happened to me

@Tony-Hastie I'll tag @Adam
-
@David-Milligan well 0-3 very young 10+ pretty old I would guess is why it works?
-
@Martin Hi Martin, just working through the filters here - is this filter just picking horses 3-10 years old at the courses listed? Doesn't make a huge amount of sense why this would work, I know it looks good on the backtesting but what is the thinking behind it?
-
@David-Polkey it's a dob so you lay whatever makes you 100% profit
-
@John-Folan I am currently looking at the AW for Winter racing that has little ground bias and trying to work on different things, this maybe a good base, let you know!
-
@Tony-Hastie comparing dob rate to class and distance?
-
@Karl-Pick I wanted something with high turnover. You can filter even further but tbh with that return I havenβt bothered.

Zero Paced Lays.
I've been dicking around with these for a while now. The theory being horses with a pace rating of 0 are crap. It does work on the base filter alone, but with a couple of sensible obvious and logical filters it looks very tasty. Despite the pretty graph it can be swingy. I have hit a couple of 50 point downturns on a different version including the flat. However it recovers. The profit on the flat is nowhere near the jumps so I've removed it. A 200 point bank (or 0.5% of your bank) irons that out. There is a case for leaving out the summer jumps if you go by this and last year, but I will leave that to you lot to mess about with. Let me know what you think.
ZPL.json
This looks interesting, obviously 6500 bets a bit extreme, I ll have a play and see if I can eliminate some of the downturns and obvious loss pieces, could be a Winter jumps strategy? Thank you!!!

@John-Folan oh interesting! Will give that a look

@John-Folan I've created a Back to Lay 2.0 does this work better mate? rules_export (1).json
Looks much more like it doesn't it? Also works as a TROB as well for added confidence
