    @james-everard

    This is my most profitable British Greyhounds one, results logged since 24th April.

    cb20e1d7-c665-4bc5-b0ac-3c1bc99b1aa1-image.png

    Maximum odds of 6 for the above.

    Other with decent profits are:

    Townsville (AUS) - 380m - Back Traps 3,4,5 and 7 if odds are 12 or less, minimum 6 runners - showing an overall profitable race strike rate of 46%
    Wentworth Park (AUS) - 520m - Back Trap 1, Lay Trap 4, if odds between 2 and 12, minimum 6 runners - showing an overall profitable race strike rate of 54%

    @james-everard Sounds like a reasonable intuition to me!

    I tried ages ago laying two greyhounds in the place market if they were both under 2.0 , as i had the inclining that over the course of time that the favourite two in the market are unlikley to come in 1-2 at the end of the race. Maybe something i can paper trade for a while to see if it would be profitable long term

    @Greg-Mitchell Nice, well done.

    It was similar when I had it working before - pennies made on each race because all the action happens in the last couple of minutes before the race, but nice and consistent and with 90+ races per day, it all adds up!

    I am currently running 91 different strategies on the Greyhounds (GB and AUS), each one individual to track, distance and grade based on analysis of last 3 years results. Plus I have a price dependent dutching strategy on the 1st 4 in the market.

    Only doing £1 stakes (Back and Lay), since 1st Jan am £300 up. ROI is low at 1.5% (after commission), but its steady and low financial risk.

    Started off with a lot more individual strategies, but have been ditching the ones that are unprofitable after 50 selections.

    @Greenie I've only just seen this! Did you do anything with it in the end?

    I used to do OK off greyhounds, especially the forecast market, but it nose-dived inexplicably.
