@Ryan I thought that after testing for a while and getting used to the software and filters. I just thought there is a community out there that maybe I can help and that people could help me. It’s been great already. After my first post I have had a lot of response and help with my strategies. Thank you. πŸ‘πŸ»

@Vince-Kavanagh I only used the data from your spreadsheet so the only tweaks were backing the unders (or you could lay the overs for pretty much the same results if you layed to Β£1 liability) and then excluded the matches where the S/R was 80% and above.

@Terry-Heller on your second sheet Terry, did you teak the leagues to get a better ROI? Looks a lot better than my original strategy. If things are not working just do the opposite. πŸ‘πŸ»

@Vince-Kavanagh There is more that I have extracted from the spreadsheet as well.

Filtering the selections to those below 80% S/R (your column G) and I am assuming that you are getting this % from the stats software btw.

I have added another sheet now with those if you want to look
But basically they havent had a losing month so far
The S/R is better which improves the ROI
You still get a decent amount of selections each month(262 so far over the 6 months)

When you click on the odds you should be able to see the formula I used. The P/L column has 2% commission deducted

@Terry-Heller that is great work Terry. Thanks for what you did there. How did you work out the formula to get the unders odds? Might look at the opposite on some other strategies that are not working that well. Brilliant πŸ‘πŸ»

    @Vince-Kavanagh
    Thanks for sharing Vince.
I made a copy of your Over 1.5 Set and forget and added a couple of columns to give the results with backing the unders instead. I used a formula to get the prices and they should have been achievable.
It does show a healthy profit especially as the number of selections is quite high now and a few results either way will not change the percentages hugely.

Back Over 1.5 Goals (Looking at backing under after testing, should be more profitable)
    filter-settings (3).txt

Back Over 2.5 Goals League Tweak (original filter just take restriction out)
    filter-settings (4).txt

    Back Over 3.5 Goals.
    filter-settings (5).txt

Back Under 1.5 First Half Goals League Tweak (original filter just take restriction out)
    filter-settings (6).txt

Hope that I have done this right and you can get my filters. πŸ™

@Vince-Kavanagh If you need any help sharing, just ask in the software support thread and someone will sort you out. There's a video on it somewhere.

@Trevor-H Hi Trevor, I forgot to say that in all my filters I put over 10 games played, but don’t put it on my spreadsheet, I think I should do, the more data the better. πŸ‘πŸ»

@Trevor-H I waited for about 250 results or so before I league tweaked some of the strategies, forgot to keep the original filter to run alongside the tweak ie V2. But I started up again after a 2 week break. Always best to keep the original filter to have as a back up to see if trends change. I will share my filters for my strategies tomorrow, just need to work out how to do it. πŸ˜‚ the Dutching one I’m very interested in, only a few results but a great ROI at the moment anyway πŸ™πŸ»

@Vince-Kavanagh Hi Vince. I've been a member less time than you have, but I'm finding the forum really useful and I'm sure you will too. Your strategy looks promising. So your filter comprises just the two stats, amirite? Nice and simple. When in the series did you tweak the leagues? I ask because I've found that tweaking to give good backtesting results isn't always quite so successful in forward testing (I think the term is 'curve fitting'), so it pays to keep the stakes small, as you have been doing so far, just in case.

@Ryan I thought the best way to start would be on the football trading thread, would I have been better going on a different topic? I have used the private coaching, started that when I first joined to get some advice and help. Thought that I would get some good data before I got stuck in. 😁
    Thanks for responding.
