Bet Angel Automation Thread

@simon-topper Thank you it's much appreciated.
This is where I am up to at the minute, will this now run the bot in the selected markets? in the rules apply section, I clicked all rules, not sure if this correct? thank you.

@Peter-Backhouse-0
Open up bet angel and click on the guardian icon, the G icon:Click on the automation tab and import the rules file:
Select your markets, then select your required automation file.
Should be that simple, might want to try it in practice mode on bet angel first to make sure it's working how you predicted.

Hi Everyone, the automation file for Back the Favourite, which version is this please? is there any sort of guide as to how to input the Baf file into BA?
Thank you.

@emily-knowles
Hi Emily,
Sorry for the late reply (I only just noticed it now)So far, I've set up 5 guardians. One for each strategy. All racing.
I did setup another one for football but decided to delete it. I'll probably create another 2 next for Ryan's split stakes and the super late goals one.
It works for me, because it helps me keep organised.
Having so many strategies, all in one windows gets far too complicated for me.I like football but I can't stand watching my monitor for hours on end for late goals.
That's why I love automation, it allows me to watch the odd footie game for enjoyment only. -
@tony-hastie Thanks Tony.
What do I know?
Martin's the expert!
I'll try it myself this weekend. -
@Richard-Coxon
Hi Richard,
Thanks for that video about creating an automation file for "Lay The Beaten Fav". It works a treat!
I copied it over to "Pace Lay's" and I'm going to run it tomorrow.
All I did was alter odds and start time. I presume that's all that needed.
I know nothing about this stuff. I just paint by numbers.Cheers Mate. A great job!

@tom-2 I think @Martin is right, it is the correct score market.
I picked 2 random games overnight and around the 75 minute mark It layed the correct score. I was lucky in the fact that there were 2 late goals so profited rather than losing a quid! Ive worked out the signals are to make sure you are not heading into "any other home/away win/draw" lines 17, 18, 19 of the correct score market. If the score is anything bigger than 2-2 at 75 minutes it wont fire...(thanks bet angel forum!)
Strangely, I havent been able to get it to fire on test games today...and the rule where I changed it to a 60min entry time hasnt fired at all(even overnight). Still a bit of learning to do I think...

One out of three triggered and that was the Wealdstone v Aldershot game. And it placed a back bet for Wealdstone to win. So, maybe match Odds is not the market option.
To be perfectly honest, I thought the "Super Late Goal Strategy" was to lay a late goal in the match. That's the reason I only placed a £1 on it. I'll try another one next time with the O/U market selected. The problem is, what over/under? 1.5, 2.5 etc,..
Better still possibly someone in here can help us out on this.
-
@tom-2 Thats narrowed it down to 3
Games are underway now I guess, let me know how it gets on...
-
@tony-hastie.
Hi Tony,
I've just sent Bet Angel a ticket on what market to select with the late goal strategy.I just received this from Bet Angel:
Only you will know which market you want to deploy your strategy on but from what you've said it sounds like you want to target either the O/U market/s or possibly the Match Odds
-
@tony-hastie
I'm a little unsure too. @martin said correct score but that doesn't seem right to me either.Surely, the bot should over-right whatever market we enter anyway.
If it goes t*ts up then it's only a £1. -
@tony-hastie think it's correct score
-
@tom-2 Im about to test this too on the late goal any scoreline! Popped in here to ask which market I should apply it to. All those signals in the rules have confused the hell out of me Much appreciated if you(or anyone) could enlighten me...

@richard-coxon
Thanks Richard,
That's been a great help! I setup Bet Angel 2 this morning and it's working sweet.But also, do you know if there's a limit to the maximum guardian installs on the same PC?
My plan, is to have 3... horse lay bets - horse back bets - football bets.It's OK now Mate. I just found out it is possible. Cheers
Just to throw a spanner in the works, I trade lay and back horses and football on one automated Guardian without any problems at all.
I input all the UK and Irish races for the day then find the specific football match markets and import them individually - (markets - Add Bet Angel Market)
-
Hi everyone,
Is the, "0_1668413082587_Super Late Goals Strategy.baf" the same as "Late Goal Any Score Line" in the football stats downloads or is it another strategy?
If so, there's 3 games on tomorrow I'd like to test it on with £1 stakes.

If you open multiple Bet Angel instances from the same shortcut you can screw up your log data, you can, however, install multiple Bet angels on the same PC, so they have different folders .. there is a thread on the BA forum that explains how to do this. if you are not interested in looking at the logged profit and loss etc then it's not an issue, but if you do want to keep the log files and profit loss etc for each market then installing a few bet angels is the way to go. It does get confusing though LOL.
EDIT, sorry, not on the forum, it is here: https://betangel.kayako.com/article/211-store-separate-logs-and-automation-reports-for-a-2nd-instance-of-bet-angel

@nathan-cooke thanks Nathan , yep that should work , I’ll have a go with that

@tony-hastie
The penny has just dropped Tony. I have to right click it to open another one, whereas I was left clicking on the Bet Angel. Duh!!!Thanks for your help Mate!
