Hi everyone, I'm trying out BFBM for a bit but I'm having trouble getting tips from the software. I can save them as CSV files and import them that way, but when I go via the URL it says 0 tips loaded.
I'm sure there's something obvious I'm missing. I've put the External ID in the software
And I have the same on BFBM
I then go to the horse racing software and get the daily qualifiers and take the URL link and copy and paste this into BFBM but it doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something?
Apologises, I know this has been asked before but I still can't quite get my head round it.
Thanks! -
Great thanks - I’ll update mine. Also, the second part is only placed if it’s still 0-0 isn’t it?
-
@joseph-henderson Yes they do, this is how I've imported today's tip.
-
Thanks, I’ll check that. I actually think the error might have been due to the fact I was uploading tips via URL and I think only one bet can be placed on each tip according to the manual. So I think if uploading via tips then you may need to split out the two parts for this strategy so there is effectively two tips. I may be wrong though and will test.

@Joseph-Henderson It is ticked on mine and placed both back bets for me and hedged. Check the 'Match minute' in Market Conditions, when I downloaded it, it was set for only a 1-minute window so heaps of the 50min back bets were getting missed, so I extended it to place a bet between 50-55mins.

Hi John (or anyone who may know the answer to my query!). I have been trying the Ryan's Split Stake bot provided in this thread. I wanted to ask if under 'Selection conditions' whether the 'Bet type by runner position' needs to have the 'Only 1 bet is allowed per runner position' unticked? The bot I downloaded came with this option ticked.
For example I had the Almere City FC v Jong FC Utrecht game this evening that was 0-0 at 50mins yet the 2nd part of the bot placed no bet for me. I wondered if it was this box being ticked that was preventing a second bet being placed on Over 1.5 goals.
Thanks

@joseph-henderson the way i did it was to add a market in as a selection manually in BFBM, and then go to the manage tips panel and see what it has it listed as. Would be handy if BF provided a list in it's API docs but I couldn't find anything

@daniel-mills Here are some more Selection id's
5851483 = Over 0.5
1221386 = Over 1.5
47973 = Over 2.5
1222345 = Over 3.5
1222346 = Over 4.5
1485568 = Over 5.5Would someone be able to tell me where Selection id's can be found? Was looking for Over 0.5 First Half Goals and Both Teams To Score. Thanks

Does anyone have a Bot that is set up for backing a second half goal when the odds hit a desired price, and then if a second half goal is Bot ignores the the match and moves on?

@john-folan I'm being thick, can't seem to find it, I can see the one for number of selections (runners in a race) but not another. When you get a mo, point us in the right direction please? No rush.
My bad it was actually under Staking. It is about 4 from the bottom of the list

@greg-mitchell yep there is a number of selections condition under ‘selection conditions’. I’m not at home at the moment so I can’t tell you exactly what it is but it’s in there as I use it.

Does anyone know how to set BFBM to only place a bet if there is one selection in a horse race. I have a strategy the the BTC Software picks out relevant horses but occasionally there is more than one qualifier in the race, so both "tips" are uploaded to BFBM and if they meet the odds criteria then it places two bets, but I only want it to place a bet if there is only one selection in the race.
-
@greg-mitchell nice one. I have qualifying versions of strategies to removal number of runners, DSLR, etc. I'd never though about doing the same with the fave selections.
-
@paul-foster In the BTC software, have a duplicate strategy but take out all the criteria that make it select the favourite, so that it picks all horses that qualify in the relevant races. Then make sure your BFBM bot includes the criteria that you have removed from BTC.

@matthew-sheehan seperated by commas but no spaces, so 3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Morning. I'm a bit stuck on bfbm and wondered if anyone may be able to advise? I'm trying to add in a new rule onto one of my strategies in bfbm, to filter horses by age. Does anyone know the format for entering values into this field? So for example if I wanted to only allow horses aged 3-9 , would I need to tick 'contains' then enter 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 in the field, or could I just use spaces inbetween the numbers, or does it need multiple rules, one for each value?
-
@gareth-roberts with any back/lay fave strategies then neither the csv or the url are the best options, unless someone knows better than me (not difficult). We don't know the fave until the off so the one shown on the selection is just the fave at that time.
What I do is take the list of races and go the the race in the "Markets" tab and select all of the runners. I then use "Move My S. to Manage Tips" using the name of the relevant strategy.
@John-Folan has a work around for this but tbh it would take me longer to do the work around than it does to enter the races manually into Manage Tips. Question to all, how do you load the back/lay the fave selections??
For any strategy which has a specific horse selected then I use the url method. If you expand into these and are still having an issue let us know.

@paul-foster hi paul have tried both ways cownloading the csv and using the url and its the horse racing back the favourite at the off strategy thanks for the reply
