@nathan-bennett Now looks to me that that might be it for the day. Zimbabwe grounds were notorious for poor drainage a few years back. Don't know if there have been any improvements. But could easily see Windies drifting to 2 and up. Time will tell.

West Indies batting is so dull these days - a far cry from the Sobers, Richards and Lara eras 😞

@stuart-wallace-0 yep draw trims biggest market mover . suspect even from here probably only need a maximum of 150 overs to get a result
so for me would probably eye a lay on the reaction of the trim rather than get on the draw back train

@stuart-wallace-0 I would look to lay Windies or back the draw if rain does look imminent. The move often overshoots under those circumstances, so I would then look for a rebound, especially as it looks to me that over the course of the match, there's every chance the weather will be much better than forecast. At the moment, I'm still scalping by siding with the Windies.

trading could be mental if rain happens in this session sometime
Not like WI can put pedal to the metal to gain big lead and lose wickets frequently just yet .

Looking at the radar, it is possible Bulawayo might escape the worst of the rain, despite the gloomy forecasts.

Still dry in Bulawayo, although the radar shows there's plenty of rain in the vicinity. Even so, I reckon Windies are way ahead of the game here and it will take an awful lot of the wet stuff to prevent them scoring a resounding victory against a thoroughly demoralised Zimbabwe team - the equivalent of two days completely washed out at least.

Even so, we can expect some big swings both ways when the showers hit, which looks as though it will be around the middle of the day as things stand. A perfect opportunity to make lots of profitable swing trades which don't really occur in any sport other than Test cricket when there isn't any action on the field of play.

WI lay possibly. Judging by the last test, it will take a while for play to resume if there’s any significant rainfall.

So... switching to a Windies lay or a back of draw given the forecast?

No chance in this SA20 final. All over already and they've only bowled 6 overs.

@matt-ayles said in BTC Cricket Trading Thread:

1 tick from locking the green in on India game when the wicket fell, but it only dropped 1.09 which is still 1 tick to the good so holding for now.

SA20, should be a very simple target but all the talk suggests this pitch has life in it for the bowlers and with PCs bowling lineup it might be fun. No entry yet, will see how they start and maybe enter if it gets near 1.1

Back to back 4s from Pak W locks that in.

For info, trade was pre match 1.08 lay of India as Pak won the toss and bat first. Exit 1.13
