@stuart-wallace-0 when I have tested other strategies the stop loss matching does cancel the outstanding back bet
really been impressed with how quick the guy at Fairbot comes back on these things.
-
@matt-ayles was happy when I entered couple pak middle order have some ability

Ah ha, had a response back from Fairbot, and they have given me a workaround for the issue i have. I'm waiting for the Gulf Giants game to commence to see if it worked !
EDIT : this is much better....
What's the profit on 4 tick green vs the full stake loss on the other?
Also suppose there's a very good chance they both grt fully matched?

@matt-ayles this biartches just get out at the wrong time 1.02 was close
should be illegal for pak w to ever bat first
must be sickening if in crowd
Yeah i think these very low starting prices are one to be careful with when there's a huge gulf in class between the teams...

1.02 to take stake out plan till end INNSFrustratingly i laid pre match at 1.02 looking for 1.03. The 1.03 appeared a number of times early, but the 1.02 wasn't matched so nothing going for me there unfortunately. No point now, the race is run.

@stuart-wallace-0 enjoying reading this. Been hectic at work so not been able to chip in
Am I getting it right...
If the team drift out by 3 ticks but then come back in then your initial stop loss is cancelled?
If so I get that it undermines the process and leaves you open to significant losses.
If I've got that right do we know why the stop loss is cancelled?

Why is the SA20 on break for a week?

It's interesting... i agree with @stuart-wallace-0 that there's a scalping style strategy to exploit here, and i refuse to believe that the movements post toss are random...
Yet laying the team batting first isn't consistent, nor is backing the team who win the toss...
If there is a way to predict the direction of the movements, you could over time make a fortune.
I certainly want to continue to explore this concept.

@matt-ayles very stars are shyte

Thunder win the toss, elect to bowl, yet drift 1.69 to 1.75? Odd...
-
@stuart-wallace-0 could be the lack of early liquidity as if someone puts up £100 at 2.0 and its all taken by someone else Betfair jumps to the next best available price...?
-
@stuart-wallace-0 decided to have a go with it, saw Faf won the toss so backed JSK at 1.89, and managed to match an exit at 1.79 so have locked in after just a few minutes... and not in play so very little risk.

Agreed. Prepared to shift the green around for those kind of prices. Can't see NZ chasing this.
Allen out again?!
