Bet Angel Automation Thread

@luke-seddon I'd call that a very successful start! Well done!! Yeah, I agree about the B2L the potential there is much greater, but will be the toughest to get right. Early days of course, but impressive the L2B was 90%.
I had a thorough look at the builds yesterday, but couldn't try it out as the first race ended up not starting until bedtime for me here. Hopefully, the early races don't get abandoned next week and I can start testing too. -
@sean The B2L was less successful, but to be honest I need to look at the profit vs stop loss as I think that even though the strike rate is lower than the L2B, the potential profit is much greater. The L2B has had a 90% strike rate over the last few days so has been profitable. Here is the updated one - essentially tries to get a 10 tick profit with 2.50 stop loss. (there is also a rule to hedge at Ā£1 plus as I had one where the price jumped above the 10 tick bet and could of had a nice profit!) I am using super low stakes so the profit tends to be between 40p-80p. Super early days but looks promising.
So the strategy is to use this on the favourite (or second fav with a price under 5) that has a 2/4 pace rating from the software. What's quite satisfying is that a fair few times the bot took profit from a runner early on that ended up winning the race.

So here is the updated rules file for the B2L with the Lay bet price condition deleted! So frustrating as I would have made a decent profit on Ornate in the couple of minutes before the race even started!
Legend! I will test these out and let you know how I go. How did Tuesdays races go testing?

@luke-seddon Top man, thanks Luke

@lee-colvin yes I do

@luke-seddon Do you have the racing software Luke?

@lee-colvin Where are these ones or do you have the strategy files and I will create them if you want
-
@nick-allan Absolute legendary behaviour sir, thanks so much Nick.
Do you have any other racing ones matey? Back the Fav at the off or Dan's Course & Distance for example? If I'm pushing my luck, just tell me to beat it

dont have john pace unfortunatekly,
i would suggest testing at low stakes to see if its working ok with your guardian

@luke-seddon My god, my brain is absolute mush today
Sorry Luke, I actually meant the set and forget racing strategies, specifically Martin's Beaten Fav Lays and John's Flat Pace Backs.
Sorry for the confusion old bean, I'm away with it today for some reason.
-
@lee-colvin If you let me know what you are looking to build and I will build it for you. That way you can deconstruct it and see how it works. Alternatively there are loads on the bet angel forum you can download and deconstruct. It depends on what your strategy is.

Hi folks, does anyone have any Bet Angel automation bots for any of the set and forget football strategies at all?
I was going to have a go this afternoon, but I haven't ever built an automation bot before so thought I'd stop by here to ask first.
Thanks team.

So thought I would post a bot that I am using that could be hopeful. Its a lay to back and back to lay bot that has been designed to scalp 10 ticks when the horses are in running. Adam has put a lot more thought and there is a fair bit more to the pace rating in the software. I created a quick filter/strategy to see what the lowest (2,4) and the highest (10,12) horses that had those pace ratings that day were. I found a surprising number of favourites had a 2 pace rating and there was also the odd and high pace rating that had really long odds.
I tested the Lay 2 Back bot yesterday and profited on 3 out of 4 (two of the runners actually ended up winning the race). I stopped because I didn't put a stop loss and hadn't managed the liability very well so lost a fair bit on the loser. I also have a couple of other bots that I am testing so focused on those.
I have put in a stop loss now that greens up with 18% left of the race regardless and have made the stake the liability! Here are the bots so feel free to use and play around with -

0_1670934057697_B2L In Running.bafI am going to test it on these today -

@luke-seddon That's great, well done! The scratch trade is fantastic, that will help so much. Have you got a stoploss as well incase it moves too quickly to scratch it?
-
@sean I changed the monitor bot so the vstable signal is also 3 seconds as I couldn't seem to get the bot to place any bets when using that signal with others at 5 seconds. After a lot of tinkering I finally have a bot that might be profitable (basically it's not a consistent loser) So am going to have a full day of using it today. I am using conditions of another bot from the forum (the % of money) and a big eureka moment was changing the ranking to volume rather than betfair row/fav using the custom ranking tool.
To be honest I have had way better success manually scalping than creating a bot definitely beginners luck though! I created this which REALLY helped (automatically creates a scratch trade when bet matches if the trade goes in the other direction).
I saw these on the BA forum which are bots for inplay scalping that I quite like and am going to have a play around with as well

@luke-seddon Oh wow, that looks promising, I'll download and have a play around with that too. Will be interesting to see what price movement patterns form
